Top 5 Worst And Best Quests (1.20 Edition)

i just finished canyon guides and it was a pain
it wouldve been even worse if i wasnt assassin

 

re: shadow of the beast, it's honestly the least problematic of all the quests that have prof reqs. yep they sure are there and yep profs are annoying but at the very least the quest actually does things with them! throughout the whole quest you use those profs to progress.

rise of the quartron and crop failure on the other hand... one stage each that has profs. at the very end and at the very start respectively.

 

I agree with that.

I seriously think RotQ should've had no Mining requirement and instead move that on to a World Event where Nasea tasks you to remove the Gravel. I also think for Crop Failure, Doubiss should've asked you to harvest the crops of another farmer that used his product, and then return to him with those items.

 

I haven't done the new crop failure yet, but the inclusion in Quartron felt really tacked on to me.

 

I enjoyed new RotQ, and while the prof req had little use in the quest, that also has its upsides. You don't need to mindlessly grind during the quest, which is a positive from me! (you could also like... remove the reqs? i still don't see why they should exist. all this "but they have use in the quest" makes no sense, when all of them could be replaced with non-prof stuff, which would please more players.) I'd also like to note that the req for SotB is 3x larger than Crop Failure, and even more for RotQ. Thinking about it now, it doesn't matter that much to me how they're used in the quest; all that matters is the amount of boring grinding required, and SotB takes the easy victory there.

There is one question that I have been wanting as answer for a fairly long time, and to whoever made the decision: What was the original reasoning behind adding profession requirements to quests?

 

Alright, it was a great questline, and definitely up in the high rankings, but as number one? Yes, the clicker thing was new. It was cool, but there was too much of it, in my opinion. It really could have been spiced up with, say, some wiring minigames or perhaps other things. Since its just clicking R / L with nothing else, though it is new, I feel that it isn't as fun as you say it is. Also, the beanstalk mobs are... kind of weird? I still don't get how they're supposed to work. They launch you at seemingly random moments.

AHC will always be my favorite quest. There's bossfights, parkour, lore, and overall it is a great final quest. (also, can we kill ava in AHC? that would be cool :pog:)

The grind really isn't that bad. what, you grind for, I dunno, 5 minutes?

 

The grind for bob's tear or the depressing set was definitely more than 5 minutes for me.

The light quest lines was kinda boring ngl. I dont like lari and some of the lore I really couldn't care about. However some lore was interesting and some quests were cool like the lari boss fight that was fun, but its definitely not the best

 

Temple of legends is just working your life away to get into a country club in the jungle that you use for like 7 minuets. After then YOU NEVER RETURN. For all the work you do it has absolutely no return. If it was like a really cool place tons of higher lvls could chill at then it would b neat Bc your getting access to the crib but rn it’s so horrible not a soul would care if they deleted the whole thing

 

Imagine if ToL was a room with couches, Nermart Whiskey merchant, maybe even some small minigames
