World /toggle Gathering

    ★ =- /Toggle Gathering -= ★


    This idea is pretty simple, and small. But if it is possible, it could be the best of both worlds, for everyone.
    The idea is to add a new toggle command, which, of course, would be '/toggle gathering'


    What does it do?
    /toggle gathering would allow a player to switch how they see the world. If you have it active, you will be able to see other players, lets say, chop down a tree, mine a block, etc. This would be different from how it is currently, where Gathering skills are client side, so only you can see the chopped tree, or mined block.

    !This would be turned off by default, so unless you change it, they will all be client side!

    Why would we want this?
    This command (if possible) would allow the best of both worlds. Friends would get to see each other chop down trees, guilds would, as Salted put it, "be able to chop down all of Nivla," while new players/people who don't want to see that don't have to! If this is possible, I see no reason it shouldn't be added.

    Wait, I need clarification. So if you toggle it on, you can see EVERYONE chopping trees or mining blocks?

    If so, I feel like /toggle gathering [party/guild/friends] would work better.

    Ain’t possible sorry. If you want to cause massive deforestation, overfishing, and mining pollution, just do it in real life. At least you get paid for it with real money.

    Oh, I thought it wasn’t because then you wouldn’t be able to chop down the same tree if someone else did. Though now that I think about it, I might be wrong so sorry about earlier.

    You wouldn't. You would just have the animation taken from you.
    You can still "chop" it for wood, but it would just be a stump.
