Thoughts On Invisible Armor

I'm usually just a lurker on the Wynn Forums, but felt as though this needed a thread, since others may feel the same. Something like this may already exist, if so, please don't burn me at the stake.

Anyhoo, with that said and done,
Today I spent from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. making a new skin, which personally, I am proud of. (But I shouldn't be proud of not having a life...) Though, was a little distraught when it was almost fully obscured by armor. Before you say to take off the armor, well, that can't happen. What with it being the only means of increasing Health and stats and such (No, that isn't a bad thing), it wouldn't be very sane to run around Gavel with a 700 Health maximum.

What if, it was just invisible? Whoosh! It'd still be there, just absent from the player's outer appearance. Back when I played Torchlight II (Wh-why are you holding that rope and box of matches, and... and that grin on your face-- Oh my goodn--, do-don't tie me up!) it had the option, a simple check box, if the helmet was to be visible or not. Some of those armors, hoo-boy...​

TL;DR -- A simple cosmetic option, armor visible: On/Off

Now I know NOTHING about how coding or whats-it works its magic. Just shower thoughts, y'know? Minus the shower, though. Did I forget anything? Probably, I'm a dingus. If so don't be shy to... p-put those matches down!... let me know.

We already have a command /armour or /armor that disables the armor and only shows the player skin. You don't get the vanilla armor either, just your skin.

 

Didn't /armor only disable Armor Skins and therefore not work on normal armor?

 

I haven't been able to get the /armor command to work lately. Also, all of the armor is rendering the same as vanilla. I would love to be able to hide the armor and show my skin.

 

Yeah... turns out, it only worked for when the armor appeared as a skin. If Coming Whenever™ happens and the skins return, it'd likely work again.
...I hope. :O
