This Is Just A Game, My Opinion

Keep in mind that a lot of players are usually younger on minecraft servers and take things a lot more seriously than they should because thats just how it is. As someone who has moderated large communities myself (Former MCPVP mod), you will always have unhappy, toxic people who drag down the overall environment. You just can't let it get to you and you should just continue on doing what you think is right for the community. No one is going to like when their items are nerfed or things are changed but those are necessary "evils" to usher in continuous updates.

For the community, try to appreciate and thank the item/ct/mod team for their continued work for this server. Its a lot of fun being in a position of power but they also have to take the brunt of the negativity when things go wrong or you don't like an update. Suggest some constructive criticism for what can be improved instead of just telling the team that they ruined the game.

all i gotta say is THANK YOU PEPO HAIL PEPO FOR BRINGING THIS UP! Yes this is a minecraft guild you don't need to be serious and decicate so much of your life to such a thing its just insane and not worth at all

 

I know we won't get a total improvement from the community, I just believe that if people reading this think when reading this post and don't just look at it and jump to another one.

 

I’ve never really been in a guild b4, so all of this guild drama went over my head. I thought they were so broken that no one was using them even after JP fixed them. I guess that’s just classic gamers.

In my opinion, this community is pretty tame compared to other online communities and fandoms. Again, I probably think that bc I didn’t know about the guild drama, but besides the occasional item changes and 10-year-old who can’t take criticism, there really isn’t anything that’s toxic.

 

As an avid Wynn player and one of those who is heavily involved in the guilld conmunity, espcially with wars, I have to agree with you. Okay, yeah, some of the things in the thread are generalizations that apply more to the minority than the majority, but regardless, I still do see this stuff almost on a daily basis, and honestly, it's getting a little out of hand, as if it wasn!t already. Need examples? No worries, I've got you covered:

• There's actually someone who /supposedly/ dropped out of school to play Wynn, and still does do so avidly. Not naming names, don't ask.
• I can't even count how many relationships and friendships I've seen shattered in mere hours over guild drama.
• People have had their entire personalities changed over a scam or drama that ruined years of work.

It's fucking insane, and that isn't even the full list.

But I've learned that the easy way to try and snap people back into reality is to simply tell people (including myself sometimes) one, blatant thing that we seem to forget sometimes.

Just remember, it's only a block game. You can always find another godly item or join another guild; hell, you can do both in a matter of hours.

Come and talk to me when you repair a shattered friendship that spent years to build in that same time.

 

Geez, Wynncraft is literally an MMORPG in MINECRAFT. Not even the younger communities in this game do that shit.

 

Meh, this is why being an unemotional robot like the Corkus peoples *cough* would solve the entire game's problems

It's not a real war, nobody would kill any Wynn player to be #1 in the guild leaderboard, there's a limit and the limit here is when you start putting a game in front of friends because if that starts to happen you are really addicted to it and should think if that's what you want for your life and if it is the right decision.

 

trench warfare only happened cuz one side dug in to trenches and the other side couldnt get across easily so they just dug into trenches too while they planned their attacks and then both sides jsut ended up in trenches for the rest of the war lol

Deep or not, it is too true about life ;)

 

You know, guilds are like countries.
If they have common opinions or benefits then they will join forces.
If they have political differences then they will fight against each other.
We can't really do anything much about it. Just like the real world we are living in.

 

I really agree what you are saying about the guild community. Everyone should be able to feel comfortable, as guilds are an addition to the game so that there can be allegiance and friendship among players, however sometimes things are taken way to far.
