Well, only Salted is able to touch Mythics, I guess now were back to Square 1...

Honestly sometimes i feel like Selvut should also get permission to balance out mythics. I'm not saying Salted is bad at balancing mythics in any way, he has made some very good changes, but I feel like having Selvut help won't cause any harm. Selvut knows how to balance items as most (non-mythic) items that are currently in the game are balanced (After the balance patch that will be coming soon balancing Hive items). Selvut also listens to the community a lot when it comes to balancing items, which is something that is just necessary when balancing items.

U forgot grimtrap, spring, guardian, thrundacrack, Stratiformis, and gaia(kind of?)

 

Hi Guardian is pretty balanced.
Thrunda will be balanced after elemental defense fix.
Gaia is completely balanced, Rage is what makes it so easy to exploit.

On the other hand- The reason as for how items such as Grimtrap and Inferno managed to exist at the same time without any major balances being done to either after more than a year of both existing still remains a mystery, I mean- Come the hell on... Inferno does 3,000-6,000 spin attacks no armor, And it's a mythic damaging dagger on the so called best damaging class in-game.

 

Oh yes because a tank spear with 15k uppers non crit is balanced

I could not have possibly known that, And Guardian does pretty bad damage when compared to other mythics in the same level.
Just try to compare it to DPS Alkatraz/Apocalypse, or Thrundarcrack.

P.S - Guardian actually does about 12,000 uppercuts with a good tank build, And that's all 3 hits combined + crit + best possible damage roll, In an overall look it does 7,000 damage average.

I literally just gave only some examples. I am too lazy to post every image of every "unbalanced" Mythic. I also agree with some, some not from your listed Mythics.

Without even talking about how much this build can be improved in every aspect- I wouldn't call a build that literally uses Fire Sanctuary, Paradox, AND Chef Hamsey's Apron a tank, The most defense you have is 800 and that's on fire, Which is the most focused element in the build, That's basically a full-out damaging build with Hive helmet slapped for defense.

We're still not sure how it is going to be "Fixed", So jumping to conclusions was a bad idea from both our sides.
If Thrunda does end up doing 18,000 uppercuts to full thunder tanks which is what some people claim... Yeah, It will be broken, But we can't know yet.
All I know is that at the moment Thrunda is complete shit, So I'm assuming it will be decent after an elemental defense fix.

 

Okay, that makes sense. Sorry if my comment annoyed you in some way, I guess I just wrote it out of consumer frustration, in hopes I would be proven wrong, and well, it worked... in a way. There's clearly more to the story and again I'm sorry for not understanding, and it's really good that these things are addressed.

 

I understand that over-hype is a problem, and you can't just keep on pretending that a update is 'just around the corner' when you don't have two shits what is going to happen...
But keeping people in the dark is a massive toxicity generator, people want to know what is going on, even if you don't know what is going on, all you have to say is:

'there are un expected delays, there are no pin pointed release dates, however, we are currently everything we can to fix the issues.

Something like that is way better than saying 'The update is coming out in 2-3 weeks, and then leaving people for a month without a word. This is unfair the the Moderators and CT, considering they get all the whiplash.

I think that a more connected system should be used, and by no means am I referencing Streams/Teaser/Hints.
I mean that you should at least let the community know that the CT is active, and working your asses off to get the update off the ground

I think that it is an issue how so many of the major warrior mythics have no good substitute purely because of their huge base damage. I want to make a full glass build, but I can't because nothing even comes close in raw dmg to Alkatraz, and while I get that mythics need to be better than normal weapons somehow, I feel as if Alkatraz/Apoc are made too op by their insane base dmgs.
