Let me just bash on this other rpg server real quick. That'll make me popular in wynncraft community.

Ok, main point here, perhaps the server is just inspired by Wynncraft to make a similar MMO server. However, I doubt it will last longer than Wynncraft. I don't think they blatantly copied everything from Wynncraft, but more of taking them for inspiration.

If you want to see a real blatant copy, you should see lichcraft's LichZ copied from Shotbow's MineZ.

 

Yes, I know that the message was from an actual bot and not a player. But compared to Wynncraft's announcement system, theirs just looks...sloppy. It's an automated announcement bot set to look like an actual player. It's weird and a bit strange why an announcement system needs that.

And, while I have no idea whether that server is new or old, they may be an MMO that is in the works of improvement. Wynn didn't start off with powders, Gavel, identifications, and all of the things we know today. Those were added to improve the server. This server could very well improve, but with Wynn being major competition it won't be easy for them to succeed.

 

By that logic, Pong is the only original idea for a video game.

 

You can play like 1/10 of the game before you have to purchase membership :/

Pretty much every server I know of uses something like this. Hypixel has the store advertisements, mineplex AND WYNN have the tips thing, etc.

Actually it's suprisingly difficult to change between playing different MMOs due to the fact that once you insert yourself into a community, willingly taking yourself OUT of that community and putting yourself into a different one with different personalities, senses of humors, boundries, ETC. isn't something people tend to do easily. This plays a pretty large role in why some people prefer games they've been a part of to another game they haven't, even if the other one is better/newer. So yeah, I wouldn't really say there's no point in playing Wynn because there kind of is.


Also having free, unlimited access to a first person MMORPG is pretty unique--heck, a first person RPG IN GENERAL is pretty rare.

 

I think it's safe to say that every game is a watered down version of sitting and using your freaking imagination.

It is just plain stupid to consider Zentrela a copy of Wynn, sure they both are mmorpg's in minecraft, but after that they do a lot of things differently.

 

Name one Mythros and Dungeon Realms while we're at it too.

Minecraft mmo's like Wynn. I think dr quitted, and Mythros is modded.

Mythros pretty much quit, too.

Also, Zentrela will slowly die now, aswell, because pretty much all of their Content Team left. That is what I have heard, anyway.
