We already tried it all, if you are referring to atbash and caesar

 

I'm trying to decipher it right now by just looking at what letter can't be another

 

"Apr" appears a few times..... hmmmm

And "bgxy" appears twice

 

I doubt that the code and the hint are anagrams. Both use letters which are almost never used in the English language and are inconsistent with the most used letters in English too. In the code, all letters of the alphabet are used and in the hint, almost all letters in the alphabet are used.

Larz might have a point, since it's one of the few three letter words that can start a paragraph/sentence. Though I used a=t, p=h, r=e with other letters and it doesn't seem to quite work. Somehow I have a feeling that this could be simpler than we think and might not use translators in website since it would be too easy like that.

Another word that repeats is ypdr.

 

I've noticed the quipquip really likes turning the word "ehag" into either duty or city.

 

So if "Apr" is "the" then ypdr must me "*h*e"

 

I think if we assume that it's somehow related to Corkus or Wynn then "city" "both" and other stuff would make sense. I also thought somehow once that apr could be april lol though it wouldn't make sense.

 

We could try substituting other letters now. An easy one might be "the(kl)" because it starts with "the" and has 5 letters.
