"How much for one day's worth of a meal?"

 

"I would say.. if you want a comfortable meal.. about 1 gold piece and 4 silver pieces per day. I could do it for 1 gold piece, but it would be just enough to pass as a meal."

 

I give him 2 gold, expecting change.

 

"One day then? Alright."

He takes it, goes underneath the counter and comes back.
"Here you go."
And places down 6 silver pieces.

 

I take the silver pieces, then take a seat at the bar.

 

"Unless you plan on heading out now, I will probably have things ready after dinner." Jonas says.

 

"...When's dinner?"

 

"Uh.. let's see."
He looks around a bit.

"It's 2pm now... say in 3 or 3 and half hours"

 

I tap my finger against the counter.
"Alright... I'll be back then."
I head outside to... loiter, I guess.

 

"Nothin' in particular. I'm passin' through here, do ya mind tellin' me about anything special or noteworthy around here? Also, what do you sell for wrapping up cuts and scrapes?"

 

Yes and yes, it starts drifting towards them

 

Alright. Anywhere particular?

"Wrapping up? Well.. I have bandages, but they only do so much."

The group is definitely shaken by the sudden appearance of this creature.

"Ehe.. don't worry guys. It's just a treant.. they are usually nice.. right?" One of the group members says.

 

Nah. There's no need to be stealthy.
It's not like I'm doing something they should be worried about.

Depends on what you plan on doing.

But they are heading for a building. Well-made and standing out from most of the buildings here. There is a large banner or symbol at hanging at the top of this building. It looks like a shield with a cross in the middle. Above this cross is a watching eye.

 

I make it unfold a circle of frilled leaves like a frilled dragon, and crouch down, looking ready to lunge.

 

"Okay... Just calm down. We're not here to cause any trouble." The same member says.

 

The illusion takes a step toward them

 

Just right outside the tavern.

 

The one that was talking draws his sword.
"Stay back!"

A group walks by, cheering and laughing while holds a pouch with coins.
A carriage drives by.
Two guards are talking with each other next to a house. There is a map on a make shift table.
