The Urdulion Empire - A Dnd Campaign.

"Okay, got it. Did anyone else come?"

"Um, should I come back later?"

 

As you're all having this conversation, the woman from yesterday comes running inside the inn.
She seems a bit out of breath and is holding a pouch in her hand.
"I found it!" She shouts as she holds up the bag.

 

"Oh, we are going somewhere? I thought we were waiting for someone to come to us?"

(To waiter) "Uhhh, hold that thought. This just got interesting."

Damien goes to the woman, curious about the pouch

 

I go over

 

"Come, take a seat."
She takes a seat at one of the tables. She opens the pouch and empties its content over the table.
Some copper and silver coins fall out, which she quickly grabs and puts in her pockets, as well as some other junk items. Along the items falls the 'object' that she's been talking about.
"What do you think? Looks weird, right?"

 

What does it look like?

 

It looks like it could be part of a circle. Maybe a fourth or a third of one. Another 'pipe' is attach around the middle, on the inside of the circle.
(I'll see if I can sent a drawing later.)

The odd thing is that the entire object still looks in good shape. There are a few scratches on it, but it is shiny and looks freshly forged.

 

’Ilina’: ”Yeah, I have no idea what that is.”

 

"You and me both." The woman replies.

 

“What is it supposed to be?”

 

"No clue. I found it together with the rusted blades and gold. Things happened, I think, after my group got back here. And seeing as one of my group is dead, maybe things are connected?"

’Ilina’: ”If someone didn’t want it, then why would they go after someone who found it? Assuming that’s why he got killed.”

 

"It might be valuable to someone, maybe. Might look like junk to us, but maybe it's a charm or something for another."

That's an 8... I don't have my character sheet with me but I'm an artificer so I'm bound to have good INT. I'll assume +4 for now, which would make it a 12
