There is a church, yes. Near the Northern entrance to the town is a small church.

 

Head over.

 

It is open, though it is quiet this early in the morning.
Make a perception check.

You see an older man dusting the floor of the church as you enter.
He doesn't seem to notice you and is softly humming some song to pass the time as he cleans the floor.

 

Call out to him.
"Do you mind if I come in?"

 

"Hehe, no no. The church is open to anyone."
He smiles as he continues dusting the floor.

 

"Thank you."
Head in.

 

"Are you here to pray to anyone, child?"

 

Nod

 

"And what deity may it be?"

 

"The goddess of life."

 

"There are many, my child. Does she have a name?"

 

"The Great Mother, Chauntea."

 

"Ah yes, The Great Mother. We have a symbol set up for her at the altar."
He points towards the back of the church where you see an altar with 5 little statues on them, one of them being a symbol for The Great Mother.

"Pray as long as you would like. I'll be here for most of the day."

 

"Thank you."
Head over and offer a short prayer. Leave an apple or something.

I go back to the entrance. Is the old man still there?

 

There's the sound of sweeping and whistling coming from one of the rooms near the entrance.

 

I just go downstairs and wait for the others.
