The Urdulion Empire - A Dnd Campaign.

People mostly wandered around town, doing their own thing.
Currently, everyone is at the inn, and you are asked what you would wish to eat, if any.

 

Nod.
"Okay. Thank you."
Start eating by myself. :L

 

"What do you have?"

 

"Soup; tomato and chicken. Meats; pork, beef and chicken, which are usually served with a salad. Which can be ordered separately. And our usual drinks; wine, ale, rum and Jonas' special."

 

"Ooh, what's Jonas's special?"

 

"A special grape based alcoholic drink, made by a special family recipe."

 

"How much for steak and special?"

 

"Yes. 4 copper pieces for the steak, 1 silver piece for the special."

 

I pay.

Remind me later to mark off the money when I'm at home

 

I nod raise up a finger to signal 1 order of whatever once my food gets there I go sit with someone (preferably a pc)

As you are all eating or waiting for your food, through all the ruckus in the inn, you hear something.

"AAAAAHH!"
A feminine scream can be heard from upstairs.

A plate is dropped from the sudden scream.
@SPYROHAWK, this was your dish.

"Maria!" You hear Jonas Cal, the owner, shouts as he grabbed something from underneath the counter and rushes upstairs.

What do you do?

 

Curious, I get up from my chair and rush after Jonas, hand ready to grab my halberd.

 

You follow Jonas upstairs.
He runs through the hall until he sees one of the waitresses sitting against the wall, fear in her eyes.
He goes over.
"Maria! What happened?" He says.

The waitress, Maria, just keeps looking infront of her. Into what seems like one of the rooms, door open.

 

I draw my halberd.
“Move.”
I command, intent on looking inside the room, then rushing in.

 

It is quiet in the room. No sounds.
All you see is the body of a male laying on the floor in a pool of blood.
Head is completely bashed in. Blood splatters scattered across the room.

 

Two questions:
Any blood on Maria?
Is there a trail of blood that leads anywhere outside of the room?

 

Investigation check.

 

A small figure appears behind you peering into the room aswell.
