Umm, yes, I know, but it would be a nice way to tie that scenario in, seeing as how this IS the 20th year of pokemon. Duh. They can tie up a lot of things that have happened from the spin offs into it. Also, this is completely different, the thing you're thinking about, is earthquakes, and stuff like that, if I'm thinking of the same thing... I haven't played/watched a series of Super Mystery Dungeon, so IDK if that's what happens in that. But this would be something that happens in the main series, so thus, it's still different.

And it's not like they haven't copied and pasted things from the past game... like... oh idk... the whole formula of the games... or the fact that you go around, collect pokemon, and stop an evil organization, and get gym badges, etc. It would be something different in the MAIN SERIES games. since, I LOVE these games, but... tbh... I have been getting bored of them a lot lately...

 

There's an entire game in the Mystery Dungeon series where you try to stop the earth from falling into the sun. (And by Earth I mean the pokemon world)
And if you're getting bored, try doing a nuzlocke. :3 (The ':3' is thrown in because nuzlockes tend to be hell to get through)

 

Ok, umm... which of these is this? Since, I've played the first two, I've seen all of the third one, and I have never heard of anything like that happening in Super mystery dungeon...

 

Ironically, It's Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon (the series is just called the pokemon mystery dungeon series)

red & blue: OH NO, ME NO MEMORY, THERE BAD PEOPLE, DISASTER COMING, WTF IS WITH YOU GENGAR, THERE IS A MAGICAL GIRL IN MY DREAMS
time & darkness (i never finished playing either and i dunno if sky can be grouped): TIME STUFF, GOOD MUSICKS (end of memory)
gates to infinity: JUST WTF IS GOING ON, INANIMATE STUFF KILLING US? OH MY GORSH, BUT WE NEED TO MAKE A PARADISE FIRST, OUR ONLY GOAL IS MAKING PARADISE.
super: TREE IS DEAD, SUN GETTING CLOSE, WHY IS IT GETTING HOTTER, MAGICAL ACCESSORIES

 

Because you called it the 'super mystery dungeon' series :P

 

Isn't this pretty much every main series game since RSE? Why would them doing something that they've done once be out of the picture while something that they've done for over 10 games be the most likely scenario? Yeah, it might be likely that they'd do it again because that's the pattern. But why does a somewhat similar plot in SMD mean they can't do that?
And, in any case, the plot in SMD and what Hoke described is actually really different.

Oh, yes! The waiting game!... I've played this game too much .-.

 

I don't know about anyone else, but personally I'm super excited for the inevitable new music. Each region has that one route that is typically regarded as the route with the most memorable music- Route 111/113 for Hoenn, Route 10 for Unova, Route 15/16 for Kalos, for example (obviously that's subjective but in general I see those regarded as having the best route music in the region). I'm really curious to see which route it'll be for Alola.
