The US is a colony during this time period.
The coutnries would be Brittain, Spain, etc.

Hey, this looks interesting.

Name - Elizabeth Jefferson (Goes by Eliza)
Age - 35
Faction: Town
Appearance - Tall, slim, dark hair. Carries a knife.
Magic: - Powerful healing magic. Can heal wounds with a touch.
Goal: Infiltrate the Coven and expose them, save as many innocents as she can
Motive: - Working in the hospital, she sees a lot of the supernatural horrors going on and is traumatised what is going on, wanting to prevent it at all costs and is very sympathetic to the townsfolk. She also wants to prove that she's not one of the Coven to the town avenging her parents in her own way.
Backstory: Born on a farm near the Town, she discovered her healing powers at the age of six when her father was trampled by a raging bull and her desperate hug saved his life. Seeing a chance to elevate the family's wealth, they demonstrated the powers to the hospital, who had her learn medicine and take on an apprenticeship there. From the age of twelve she worked there, and quickly became well-respected by the physicians there. The general public were more suspicious, however, and frequently refused to be treated by her 'ungodly' powers. She started taking more and more desperate measures to save people, tricking them into taking anaesthetics so she could heal them and eventually just healing them over their screaming objections. When the lynchings began, there was a lot of suspicion around her, but some objected that her services were too valuable to lose. As a compromise, it was decided that her parents were to be lynched instead, and she was forced to continue her job under threat of being lynched herself. Fearing that the total lack of trust in her is imminent and still grieving, she decided that she would have to take desperate measures to ensure the end of the crisis as soon as possible - possibly by infiltrating the Coven, as with her background they are sure to be sympathetic, or so she figures.

What type of clothing does she wear?
So is she in the Coven already or trying to get in the Coven at the start of the roleplay.
Is there a reason why she carries a knife if she tries to heal everyone (I probably already know the answer to be honest)?
What's her opinions on the Mafia murders?
What weaknesses does she have?

She's trying to get in. I'd rather actually roleplay that process.

Self-defence, should she be targeted.

Typically a trouser suit because she's in a profession exclusively done by men at the time, only let in because of her powers, and is trying to seem more like an actual physician.

Severely upset, but she doesn't know what she can do to help with them.

Well, physically she's basically useless in any sort of fight. And emotionally, she's extremely conscientious - she holds herself accountable for basically everything she could have prevented, and can't stand the thought of being in the wrong.

- Her one form of offensive magic is single target.
- She’s physically pretty weak, and close up she’d be destroyed.
- Fatal flaws are lame but I suppose it’d be the way her morality and cynicism twist. There’s no word for it, but basically she believes everyone is, you know, a bad person and motivated by selfishness. That’s cynicism. On the flip side, and maybe because of this, she’s kind of an apologist- she refuses to kill people and often doesn’t hold them accountable for the things they do. If everyone is bad, it’s just a spectrum. No one really “deserves” death.
- She hates the Mafia of course- they’re way on the vile side. If she were to read someone’s mind and see they were in the Mafia, she would probably keep tabs on them and save whoever they try to kill. If it got out of hand, she’d work on a way to convert or expose them. But killing comes the very last, and probably only in self defense.

 

I'm liking my character more and more, knowing the other characters that are going into this. xD
