I have a very important announcement that I have to make, perhaps for the last time.
Recently, I've been faced with a lot of things that I have to do and just as many things that I want to do.
But I must admit, running and managing this game has not been one of them and it has tethered me to the forums for more than I can handle.
And there's also the fact that, no matter how many Helpers we have, I am the one that needs to give rewards and consequentially spend hours poring over them.
This led to many occasions where I was not there to give rewards and the player had to wait hours, sometimes even days, which made me contemplate whether this was actually possible to run or not.
Even though I am not that busy right now, running this game and thus being online at the forums as frequently as I can have been quite stressful and time-consuming for me.

That is why today, I am sorry to have decided to close this game for now.
Thank you for spending your valuable time with my game, and thank you for giving this game even more love than it received last time it was around. (This thread got more than eight thousand views in less than three weeks, and almost as many replies as the 2023 comments before 2023/5,000 comments before 2,025 threads, which is quite ironic as we never really meant to have a lot of replies.)
I am truly sorry to have made your time investment go to waste, but it had to be done for my own life and mental health.
I will consider re-opening a new forum game that doesn't take as much effort for me to run. But here's what's likely to be Southern Earth's end.

yeah I'm really sorry, I didn't have any time to invest in this as school started and a lot of other stuff in my life has been happening. Thank you for making this game and taking your time with it, it was really cool. Good luck to the rest of you too in the future.
