The Sky Island On The Coastal Trail

We all know and love the coastal trail, but did anyone every wonder how there is a sky island is there?

Now you might know the rough story of the sky islands, but here it is,
a big object caused the flat mainland to break, then they started to float. (this also made our favorite wybel.. but lets not talk about it.)
however, if it was that large... then this island floating should have caused many other islands to be created in a larger area... there may be an explanation to this though

Explanation 1. One of the many sky islands got hit at the right angle, and got launched at high speeds, all the way to the wynn province. We know these things can be thrown around because there are a few islands going near Jofash Docks, which is a little far away.

Explanation 2. It wasn't the size of the object that caused the islands to scatter, it was the type of object.
If this is true, then it may have just been a smaller version of that object that just hit a smaller landform, causing it to float. However if these are just something that occurs then... that means that at any moment another landmass could be hit, changing the terrain forever...

 

...honestly, I noticed it but I didn't know about lore then and I only remembered it for the loot chest there.

 

That little island is one of my favourite little parts of Wynn. To my knowledge, it's existed since at least the Ocean Update. I hope they never remove it, it's one of the few relics from that time of Wynncraft that are still around.

 

Same here. The thing's been floating there since 2014 at least and I love it. Please stay forever floatboye.
