cmon it's not that hard you just need a max dex slayer and 2 19sp prisms :^)
this is pretty doable but weak defs and -hp regen but hey 5k poison and 9.7k dps not bad
Edit: fixed it, you still need a 15 dex slayer but thats not so bad right

first time using a boreal with rainmaker and gambler ive never even considered til major woke me the fuck up and i realized that it indeed is pretty dank
for the sp tightness, get a good soldier and high str on gaea and everything will be sorted out

-70% isn't bad if you have other good items for %def *cough* *hive* *cough*

 

the thing about Gambler is that youre only supposed to use 1 of them if you have a bunch of negative defs that are still better than 200
cus it first brings them to positive, then as a payment for the job it nerfs it by 70%+

 

sorta like slaping DFN on a build with enough Skill Points to wear already, just for the +ele defenses except it's balanced. or any other rainbow def accessory: nebulous, DFB, etc.

using a gambler as a defense fixer is completely viable but 2 of them is just retarded and counterproductive

ok so chain lightning with t6 powders is your melee damage with +240% damage in the mix
after testing a couple of cancer rainmakers, ive come to the conclusion that Chain lightning does your raw damage 3x. this makes calculating cancer builds' chain lightning damages real easy

on builds that have base damage tho, testing is still underway

this is also cool and good if you dont want to ruin your life with the glitchy piece of shit LI is but the defs on the original are cool and nice even tho you have to sacrifice ~10% ws

 

hiyo i tested out t6 quake with a cancer build in practice
unlike chain lightning, its damage is actually accurate to what is says on the can
so to calculate your quake damage, you multiply your melee hit by 4.14974501622624 or just 4.15 it doesnt matter
cba to test without cancer cus then the melee hits vary and thats just a pain imo

 

yo there hasnt been much going on in terms of Painmaker's development since all the main forms of it have been already optimized (max dps, tanky, ws)

so from now on im going to be making the most bizarre builds based on the oddest concepts I can think of so look forward to that if youre interested

MC has a slight shot cap lag that makes you shoot only a tiny bit faster than Very Fast if you hold down the button. You gotta click manually to get the actual 4.3 shots per second.

the first idea was to get a cactus rainmaker built done, but it ended up also being a tank and above average dps
it's not actually sp tight like some build noob would think since none of the sp ids need to be rolled, tho you need to be level 101 to use the build
also 100% exploding verry nice
