So you're telling me the guys who made the game don't know how much xp is between the levels?

 

No, I'm saying the guys who made the game don't mean for exp armor to work for quests, but it looks like it does. Numerous staff have said in the forums it is not supposed to work. But my math suggests it does work. The difference in my numbers falling short can be explained by my having done a little grinding I forgot about. But not without the armor and DXP effects.
Actually it looks like its really glitchy and gets doubled for DXP weekends. Rejoice! Salted may not nerf it if he thinks it doesn't happen.

 

Okay, for starters; we still don't know whether or not Armour affects quests, and we also don't know in what order XP bonuses are given. So your math could be all wrong.

Next, we have the fact that you didn't state how 93's XP amount is wrong, you just did some shaky math.

 

Okay.
I made 9,867,200 experience points handing in Qira.
I was at 93 and 0% progress, and got to 94 and 36% progress.
93-94 is 7,070,000.
94-95 is 7,770,000. Logically, getting 36% of 7,770,000 means I got 2,797,200 experience.
So when I handed it in, the chat line said it was worth 1,000,000. Now the Wiki says 1,250,000. So it's not clear what Qira is worth exactly.
Either way it seems like I did pretty well for myself.
I will now back slowly away since I don't know why you're looking like that at me.

Yeah, the numbers still get wonky. And the chat line when you hand it in definitely said "1,000,000". So another example of the sources disagreeing.
I think its possible that the armor boost , which isn't supposed to work at all for quests, according to several staff, actually does. And more importantly, since it isn't supposed to, i think they got careless of where it goes in the algorithm. It looks like the armor boost gets multiplied by the weekend dxp. Which is possible, in a "they wouldn't do it that way on purpose, but they would by accident" way. See the great Raw Damage multiplier glitch.

sorry this simply has to be incorrect as I got all the way to lvl 100 with quests only with txp and 209xp bonus.

 

According to my math, finishing every quest in the game with 209% XP Bonus and TXP (excluding ???) yields 102979817xp.
The amount of xp to hit level 100 from level 1 is 138665968, and you're forced to kill lots of mobs during quests, meaning you only had to kill enough mobs to earn 35686151 xp, some of which is done by doing the quests. Assuming missions are also accounted for, then you would have gotten VEEEERY close to level 100.

 

nope, wrong, I maybe killed 200 mobs total in my run, for some of the quests I killed 0, and for the ones where I had to take out a boss/mob I might have gotten 200base xp per mob, these values are just straight up incorrect.

 

Well then talk to @Tantibus about it, he's the original poster of these numbers and also a member of the staff team. These numbers are not incorrect because that's literally how they're coded into the game.

 

Nope, lv. 100 - 101 also doesn't have any 0's :3

 

Oh for anyone wondering the exponential equation for it is 100*1.7^x where x is the lvl you are lvling from i think this is correct? I just did some quick mental math :P

Also if u lvl up multiple times, ive noticed a bug where the next level requires the same amount of xp, so the quest gives more lvls/higher percent agh its hard to explain

DXP + 210% XP Bonus (from armor/weapon) + Potion of Wisdom (+15%)
So Qira Hive gave him 5.5-5.8mil Base XP.
What.
So Qira Hive (maybe all quests) gives more XP when they're near to quest level.

 

Exactly, if you're at quest level then you get the most amount of XP, the XP decreases when your level gets farther away from the quest lvl. xD

 

thats the thing... 209% when the max is 240ish? You can get to 100 without grinding (tested myself)

its all quests... just qira and ToA have it more significant... every quest gives you more XP if youre closer to it
