Slayer is cool because you can get 1 mana meteors with almost no intelligence.

Also you get 56 spare skill points to spend on whatever you want (I'd put them on defense)

It’s rly tanky tho I guess but there are tankier options that don’t use mythics

 

What's the bad part about it? I'm interested and want to be better at building.

I know that the regen, mana regen etc. isn't great but as you said it's tanky, and it can hit 20k meteors with 1 mana.

 

It can, but the average damage is 10k and there are other The Nothing build with 1 mana cost doing more damage and tanky.

 

Firstly, saying "upto" is pretty bad, we always go with the averages. The nothing by itself can get "upto" 19.8k meteors, so that's really saying nothing. Secondly, I hope you know this but the chance of mana steal and life steal activating on a melee hit goes up, the slower your attack speed is. So having normal attack speed with that not enough amount of mana even with 1 mana meteors is cutting down your dps. Also Vital and the dia static accessories seem, random and actually detrimental to the build. Cutting off that much hp(keep it mind you are dealing with large defensive sp here too) for almost non existent damage boosts is just a really bad choice. Also... Cumu... The Nothing gets bascially zero benefits from % damage boosts, the only viable way to boost it's damage is raw spell. There is no real need to use Dark shroud here, TFA gets plenty of sp already. Using darkshroud takes up the slot for The Crossing, which is found commonly in a lot of the nothing builds due to it's very high raw spell.

With slayer, there is really 0 need to include intelligence

here is a build that I have mentioned with way more bulk and similar damage 1 mana meteors that doesn’t include slayer
(As a proof that your build was quite bad)

Yeah as much I as really love the new Dark Shroud

it is rather useless in a The Nothing build
