From what I've heard is that you only drop junk and a low amount of emeralds until you reach 5 sp which you then can lose these items:

Incase the quote thing didn't work I pretty much just copied the changelog's thing with just the part I need. It says:
30% of your emeralds
60% of your junk items
3% of your IDed items
10% of your in-IDed items
30% of the other items

It is the ones in bold text people are mad about but do note the "nothing of value should drop until you reach 5 SP, and horses will never drop."

Also I don't think that will effect gameplay that much because you will almost never be on low soul points like that in the first place since they regenerate at a fast rate. That isn't taking into account the buff. Why is everyone complaining?

Ok, good because I don't want a flame war either but it's just that I don't see how you'd lose soul points so fast that you actually get effected by this since the regen is so high. Really though, this isn't close to being a flame war.

 

Speaking from experience, i teleport a lot using scrolls, so my SP is usually under the 7s and sometimes 5s and if i died AT ALL during a quest or loot run, a LOT of my shit is going to drop and despawn. That might include my legendary armor/weps, and if i ever get one, a mythic. So take into account that it'll suck for us prepared people...

 

Will the new dungeon scrolls affect travelling? I know some dungeons that are pretty close to cities.

 

People only care about their mythics and armour. Duncan is trying to tell you that they have chance of 0%-4% when you are 5 sp. I died 5 times once in the beta and all i lost that I used was a boot.

they do not affect the sp.

Your things will mostly be un-ided things, powders and junks/miscs.And like i said above, you might lose it after 4-6 deaths of under 5 sp.

 

I died like 7 times with 1 sp in the jungle and I only lost my chestplate and leggings lol

 

I died once at 4sp and lost three of my weapons and half my armour.

 

are you really sure about that?
