The new items are bit... cursed?

This may contain spoilers for a newly added secret or just be something completly normal that just don't understand about game-mechanics.
Also I'm deeply sorry if there already is a major discussion on this somewhere

So, the new world events host exlusive items and some of them say "...It's pulling towards something."
Well I decided to wear all items that say that and look what they do:



They randomly remove major chunk of the users HP recardless of the actual stats of the items. this seems to happen ONLY when you are wearing items that all poses the "...It's pulling towards something." item lore.
They remove exatly -850hp (friend did the math did not confirm but I belive it to be true) so that might be a coordinate that can se used, after all the items hint that they want you to go somewhere.
The character info sheet does not tell you about the missing 850hp


We looked around -850 x -850 wich was in troms and also 0 x 850 that was near bob's first quest. Nothing of intrest was found while wearing these items.

am I just delulu or is there some actual explanation on the reason why all of the items remove such a spesific amount of hp? remind you all of the items do this. if you remove any of them the HP returns to the actual number it's supposed to have.

The items seem to do other funky stuff too to your stats.

Anywho just wanted to post this here. let me know if I'm onto something or just stupid

 

If you wear 8 items & hold the item you lose 1250 health

They cleave your health and mana regen if you wear too many because they're all corrupted. Putting too many together invites disastrous consequences for your wellbeing

 

so no secret lore? also what about Backbiter?

 

The "secret lore" is that they're set items without revealing that fact in their rarity
