    Hello.

I am writing this thread to express an issue that I find is present in Wynncraft's current nether.

The new nether is good and all, and I understand that the staff is trying new things out with the elemental damage, but I feel that the nether is too level-based at this point.
In the past, before Gavel, the nether was based on whether you had the reflex to be able to outwit another opponent. Whether you had the best spell combos.
Now, none of the above really matters. All you do at this point is hope to have class that is strong enough (skill build, weapon, and armor wise) to be able to beat the opponents. Not saying that this is necessarily a bad thing, but people who are 10 levels below another don't get a chance. This was the beauty of the old nether, a balance.

As for the elemental damage, it adds a nice curve to the nether. It gives the ability to expand the skill it takes to defeat an opponent. But I feel that a fixed elemental damage would be a little more appropriate for the nether. And some classes should also have a fixed elemental defense to mix it up a little. This way, only some spells work effectively against some classes.

I'm writing this thread not as a complaint, as I'm not trying to be salty, but I feel the need to express my opinion in this matter. And I understand that this is just a test, to see how things work out with the elemental damage and all that. But from my perspective, the old nether would be tricker for level 100 players, and would at least give level 10 starters a chance.

    Thank you for reading this.
