Other notable features in the new area:
A recently abandoned tribal village, similar to those of the Owl and Eagle tribes
An older abandoned village in the same architectural style as Rymek.

Maybe proximity to Dern makes these areas cursed or something? There isn't one successful settlement on the speculated border, but no shortage of abandoned and troubled ones.

The angry village, abandoned mines, Nether Portal, House of Twain, Mesa areas, Ice Barrows, the lawlessness of the fairly nearby Rymek... This is further evidence for Dern being South-East of Wynn, especially as it would make the map rectangular when combined with Fruma in the West and Corkus, something that has been mentioned as a goal for the Wynncraft team.
