I mean, it apparently wasn't supposed to be Garoth's but still, 1:1 description

Do people really see that as a hood? The official art posted clearly shows her hair.

 

That message feels like the G-man saying he has employers.
We have big powerful strongest being and then they mention how theres people who are even more powerful who have power over them, pretty cool tbh.
But yeah, I think she's probably a species unlike the rest of gavel. Somebody suggested villager above but I'm not sure. I dont think villagers have that shade of gray skin white eyes and live for that long. She also lacks the signature villager nose.

Just because everyone else didn't doesnt mean she couldn't of. Also various other olm have managed to get out(the tempo town merchant). There can be exceptions, and with her level of power I doubt she would die easily. Maybe she saw it coming and prepared more thoroughly, maybe she was far away travelling, theres plenty of explanations.
"Why didn't she stay in the wynn province."
Big evil dark force is bombing your city, you would probably want to get as far away as possible right? So, probably like the villagers(who also did it before the waves calmed), she might of sailed across the ocean. Olmic architecture and magic prowess suggests they were pretty advanced, so I doubt ships would be something they didn't have.

I dont think a single person in modern wynn knows of the olms existence apart from like- Martyn- either. Its ancient ancient buried history, all records of it probably decayed away by the time the humans arrived. Also maybe olm standards for magical practices were quite high, they did things like mess with time and reality after all making monuments able to seperate themselves from reality and time itself(timelost sanctum), so qiras magic might of only been moreso above average but not that notable. We also have to consider the millenia in between her escaping and her arriving at gavel to build up her power.

 

I think Gale is from Wynn, not just has been to Wynn. But yeah if Qira is an Olm then it's very likely that they met in Wynn.

Her face isn’t completely black except for her eyes in the official art either, so I assume that’s Qira when she doesn’t have her hood on.

Edit: after looking at Qira for a bit, I can see what you mean now.

After going through all that, I think Qira is an Olm now. If she was just a villager or a human, then it would’ve been a boring reveal anyway and wouldn’t therefore make sense for Selvut to be all secretive about it. Plus neither has purple blood so Olm is the only option left.

 

I will say that her face looking purple doesn't mean her blood has to be purple. If her skin is slightly blue, the red blood can probably make it look slightly purple

Her skin isn’t blue and even if it was blue, then she still wouldn’t be either human or villager because neither has blue skin (unless they’re chocking, but that’s not what Gale meant).

Can we at least change it to Olm, or do we have to wait until Selvut or someone else from the CT confirms it?

Because I’m 90% confident that she’s an Olm at this point. The other 10% being she’s from a different race that hasn’t been revealed yet.

We'll have to wait, there's no direct source for her species, only speculation. Though you can probably add a summary of the speculation below the lore section or something

 

Why the hell are people debating on whether we should put unconfirmed theories into a canonical-infobox on the wiki
