this is really exciting. 2 hours and a half (probably) left.

 

It's kind of hard to be excited when you know you can't immediately play it after it releases.

Spoiler: I am pretty lost right now at a certain point in Hiveswap

I'm in the room where the portal is in Dammek's hive, and I'm pretty stumped, help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Turns out it was an odd glitch with the orange tablet thing not appearing next to Joey, I made a new save and got to that part again, and the glitch didn't happen this time

any idea how far I should read into homestuck before I get into hiveswap, or is it fine if I just jump right in

 

Technically you don't need to read Homestuck to play Hiveswap, it says so on the steam page. However, I feel a lot of jokes and culture will fly over your head if you are not far enough. I've already seen a huge reference deep into act 6 from the trailer. How far are you? I haven't started Hiveswap but someone here who has can let you know more.

 

I'm currently in act 6 intermission 3, so I don't know if that's far enough or not

 

@Nepeta Leijon you should probably add judy, jude, and the other chars to the list
