    Explanation:
    FIRST, lated is an archaic word for belated.
    The weapon is lated, though it has a great strength. It is often forgotten by the world, but it has an unknown power that is stronger than ever. It has gone through so many history, seeing every battle the adventurer went on.
    (This is not the lore of the weapon, this is only what the name implies and what it means)
    ALSO, it is an anagram of DELTA
    (1) The greek letter, Delta, is made representing a door in the ancient times. This name has a meaning of having an ability to open the door to the unknown world and reach a greater strength and power. (2) Delta is also the symbol for change, which has a meaning of being able to have a great increase in your power when you use the weapon.

    3. Diaphthora
    (any weapon)
    Explanation: It is the ancient greek word for "destruction, corruption".
