Well that was fun :D

 

The lvl 33 meta definitly favours burst damage a lot, and tanking is very limited at best. It definitly adds a certain tension to every move you make. Almost like a horror-genre, around every corner you turn could be a player waiting to disintegrate you if you make the wrong move to carelessly. Even standing still and hiding is scary, as the most dangerous players know the arena, know most of the spots, and if they notice your bright golden armor, can melt you with 1-2 bomb arrows or a single meteor before you realized you have been spotted.

The longest standing contestants definitly studied the venue, and knew what their classes strength and weaknesses were inside the arena. With sammy understanding to some extend where he should be and why, netting him 3rd place while turtle was really embracing his role as silent executioner being very bold and confident with it, and it rewarded him with a hard earned kill on sammy who didn't respect turtles class's strength and damage output getting him 2nd place.

While i'm not proud of my playstyle that won me the fight , I caught turtle lingering in a easy to reach spot on the ground floor(not uptop the christmas tree) not healing immediatly, and gave him a taste of his own lethal medicine.

I definitly think this can open the door to some very fun activities if people are willing to give them a chance, and put in a little bit of legwork to create a decent build. Don't think because many things oneshot you that this isn't a very skill and knowledge intensive game. Those who had a plan all scored very high.
