    Yes, we're planning to have the catalyst cost for refunding hive items removed upon release and for a while after so it's easier for players to trade in their items. Applies to master hive as well.

    The catalyst cost is there so that purchasing something from the shop still feels like a committment while still allowing players to trade it back if they so wish. Usually an exchange of sorts doesn't exist to begin with (see dungeons) but as this is a one time purchase, refunds exists.

    @everyone

    Hi. Apologies for being silent for quite some time on our part.

    This inactivity is partly due to me stepping down from spearheading daily item team operations, but I think we owe everyone the transparency of information. Elem revamp part one was always meant to be sort of my swan song for Wynncraft in a way as I am focusing on work and real life in an inconvenient time zone during summer, and then my university final year starting October all the way til literally a year later in July 2020. However, I am not quitting as an IM/IM manager or from wynncraft / item team (sorry haters luv u) but I will be focusing on internal affairs and manager-y stuff, so you guys ain’t getting rid of me just yet but know that I’m gonna be less in the face of everyone casually and only speaks in more formal occasions.

    As for Elem Revamp. The team is not working on changelog 1.1.2, but instead a larger update that will address all the known issues such as rainbow, vampiric, paladin and anima, as well as lay groundwork for future updates. There is no ETA for when this update to the changelog will be released and there is no ETA for subsequent changelog release. This is because the team is also moving on from elem revamp part 1 in general, and focus on other quality of life changes as we prepare item updates, elem revamp part 23456x (that’s a joke we don’t have that many) (or do we) and elem revamp integration for the next major wynncraft update coming soonTM. (Note this is not a hint for next major wynncraft update I literally said we’re working on it). There will not be any individual items or ingredients pushes to the main game, elem revamp or otherwise, until said next major wynncraft update coming soonTM.

    Furthermore, there will be a hiatus on recruiting new class builders and class builders direct feedback in general due to the above two reasons combined. The team is still checking the google form feedback survey and archetype survey however and that is and will remain our main source of looking for formal feedbacks on elem revamp and or items in general. The responses so far has been great and we have made changes according to them.

    That’s kinda it I think. Feel free to ask any questions, the team and I will answer them if we are eligibility to give you the appropriate answer. After that, I’ll see yall when the time comes.

    So, just so I'm understanding this correctly: The Elemental Revamp will be coming out with whatever the next major update is and there is no ETA on it, and there will be ABSOLUTELY no changes to anything for however long that ends up being?

    My apologies for the late response, I was indisposed. Just to clarify, what this means is that you are working on an update that includes a "changelog 1.1.2", but is not limited to just that?

    Morph armor pieces are getting their skill point boosts removed. This can only mean one thing: Get level 100 Archer before this update happens.

    I do like the Spring changes, however.

    EDIT: I saw the set bonus changes. Morph in its current state is absolutely getting nerfed into the ground regarding skill points, requiring a full set to grant any skill points to all skills (24 SP to all). My guess is that the item team wants Morph to be a strictly rainbow set, which is fair.

    Actually, after some discussion we've buffed the final set bonus to provide 31 skill points, which means you're guaranteed 75 skill points in everything. This means you can use a wide variety of weapons with it. Rainbow would be the most powerful generally, simply due to this, but you can use other things as well.

    Are class abilities being looked into too? something that hampers build diversity is classes not having abilities that scale with an element, Air for Mage, Water for Warrior, and Fire for Assassin.

    His point is that spells prefer certain elements, such as meteor preferring earth/fire elements.
    I personally think that should just be removed, but making it so all elements are represented would be nice if it is not removed.

    The build is hybrid - you cast Uppercut every 10 seconds or so to give yourself a Concentration boost, and otherwise primarily use melee (which reaches around 17k dps with the Concentration boost). You also have access to Curse.

    You could run that tier stack build with any powders, although it uses water damage I don't think anybody would really consider that a water build, it doesn't even use intelligence. Nevertheless posting that just derailed his complaints.

    You very much could not run it with other elements, because it completely relies on the +200% water damage boost that Uppercut Concentration gives.
