The Crell Archives (fantasy Rp) [6/8]

Currently dealing with hurricane so I’ll be back sometime.

“Good, go get anything you need for a few days travel and meet me at the gate. Ive already handled food so don’t worry about that.” She holds out a hand. “Good to be working with you Ian.”

 

I shake her hand.

 

You run out through the dormitory into the grass courtyard. A ring of people a gathered in front of the dormitory. You hear another metallic clang and see a bright golden sword fly into the air. You push past people until you can see the fight. A short girl in a simple gray shirt and black pants with a fox perched on her head and a boy covered in bandages are fighting. As you watch the girl sinks her fist into the boys stomach knocking him back. (So uh, just watch Tsuins posts ^~^)

 

Uhh... a punch?
Like, that works. xD

But fvck, he was knocked back. -.-
And do I respond to this IC?

 

Attempt to move him to a somewhat more secure position nearby (if none are available, just prop him up on a tree), then make haste towards the magic sources.

Sorry for the long wait. I had to figure out some story elements and I had far to many good ideas but I got that done.

The Headmaster points to a low and long wooden building right up against the wall and next to the gate, you’re suprised you missed it on the way in. “Show the stable hands your letter and they will get you a horse to your liking. See you soon.”

 

"Very well." Pocket the note, extending a hand to him. "Until we meet again."
After/if he shakes it, go towards the stable.

 

Good, let's get this story moving.

I hate to be the killjoy but that's like 70 miles in south carolina irl.
my 8th grade geography teacher drilled me in the importance of a scale in a map for a year but did i remember it? no.

Well, side conversations can always be fitted into moments like these.. so...

C: "Notes. I knew you would find a way to make it boring."

Z: "Augh what why are you -"

C: "I was under the impression that you would be joining the fight, instead of... this."

Z: "Tactical notes are very important thank you very much! I'm here to learn and learning doesn't mean I have to go always picking fights for no reason!"

C: "This is an academy for monster-hunting mages. Fighting is the entire point, you dense excuse for a human."

Z: "Well.... well maybe I'm here for the libraries! Ha!"

C: "Lies. That's the one place you're freakishly competent. You could break into anywhere on the planet, as long as it had knowledge to plunder, huh? I respect that. What I don't respect is you just sitting on it. Knowledge is the same as all power, useless unless it's applie-"

Z: "Useless unless it's applied to defeat an opponent yadda yadda yadda you gave me this talk for the thousandth time like yesterday wait oh nooo I'm missing the fight!"

C: "..."

Continue trying to stick close. I got no ranged options atm. ;~; Attempt to sweep his legs once more.

In the middle of my sweep, frown and glance to the side at these words. Place less power into the sweep and get ready to roll to the side away from her should I see her move towards us.

 

It’s my world screw your math, actually...
If the horse runs 25 mph and it’s 70 miles that’s still only 2.8 hours.
Considering these are enchanted horse (why not) it will probably be about 2 hours. So hey it works somehow.
