The Biggest Scam

At level 101, you have already completed the game though. I thought 100% quest completion was the take-away for being done, and even then, there are secret discoveries, territorial discoveries, boss alters, world discoveries, and dungeons. The last thing I'd use to classify game completion is level in Wynn's case.

While the yes I have just under 2000 runs of csst which is quite alot.... I've grinder a shit ton... I've done all the high level quests and grinded for hours on end outside csst.
Personally I agree with you that csst killed the game a bit. There are level 100s who don't know places on the map. What high level quest there are etc etc. But not everyone got 101 from csst. Psykko was someone who got 101 on 10 classes before csst was a thing. A lot of us got a lot of the and at without it.

Although I don't necessarily agree with him, Jpresent does not want you to instantly finish the game as soon as you log in. He would like you to do the remaining 2 levels in the new update they've spent so much time and effort on.

 

No but I never thought wynncraft wouldn't result to what when you actually think about it.. is theft.
I never realised someone had to promise they wouldn't take something from you after you paid for it.

 

So you basically blame the players, for what the CT created? Yea, I know that when csst was created, it probably wasn't intended as an easy way to get to lvl 100/101, but if you guys so "despised" it, it could've been fixed way sooner, and not after people have spent thousands of dollars on it

 

Which is fair enough for Jpresent, he's spent 100's of hours over a year making this update, and he wants people to spend time on it, and not just complete it instantly. If you updated, and remade much of a game, you'd want people to play it, instead of skipping over the new because of a previous update.

 

We wouldn't have instantly finished the he gave some. We would have just gotten the levels we grinder for. There are still several other new ascpects of them game for us to complete.

Hey, I'm just relaying what Jpresent told me. I can see both sides of the argument.

What are you saying?
How is any of this theft?
How is it theft to level you up 1 more level than where you left off?
How did we steal your money by simply raising the level cap?

Im honestly a bit upset that you even suggest something so extreme.

 

I personally think we should get 103, then we'd still have a big challenge (104) to get. My 138 million xp will only get me to 102.. (when my problem is fixed, currently still at 101) What I don't get, though, is that he says that he's remade most regions, areas and mobs, but how is putting our level down from level . 104 going to change how we explore that? I'm sure many of us, even if 104 will explore the new parts, and how would making us 102 make us explore the game more? If anything, we're going to be focused on grinding.

 

It's not that the level cap was raised. It's that th exp was removed.

 

He's saying that you've stolen the billions of xp they've grinded, which they've spent real money on, and given almost nothing in return

He also said that he will help the level problem, and doesn't want this to blow up, but I can't tell if he was talking about my 101 problem or yours.

 

A level 90+ 4-part questline was added in this update, I'm sure that will help you get from 102-103... Don't forget all the miniquests that were added as well...

 

Yeah and if I don't want quit I'll do all those atleast once for the exploration of the new content... but that doesn't change the fact that I had already spent hours grinding for the xp.

Seriously though, cool update and all, but have you guys seen my XP?

 

that would be the same as telling someone not to buy expenisve clothes because "it's unnecessary" people grinded after 101 because they wanted to climb high up the leaderboards and stand out, and now all the time they spent on that is gone.

 

It’s a free to play game, with things that you buy if you WANT to. No one is forcing you, and xp is not connected with money in any way

 

But think gives you an option to spend money and both of us have because we saw value in what it was that we were buying. Both of us bought hero or got it as a gift. Do you not understand where I am coming from? Can you not understand why I an annoyed?
