Can I replace Vaward with Leggings of Desolation?

 

Yes but the - water dmg could hurt, I personally don't think 6% spell dmg is worth -21% water dmg

My friend @Thor (yes that's thor) would like a build focused on AZ (he knows it's getting a nerf too), but we have no idea where we can take this, I tried pitching this to him, but I'm not sure if it's that good :

Seems like a solid build.
I am not sure if I would change too much. Maybe the Helmet,but thats a good helmet for an Water/thunder build so its fine

If you want to truely spam, you can use Suppresion for mana but rip melee. Squid anklet is a good idea . Clock amulet or Royal stormy amulet. As for skill points, I'd go 100 in Intellegence, 40 in agility and rest in whatever u want.

 

K and yes I spam my upercuts truly

 

I like this build. However, I believe you should consider using Spectre, it has great thunder damage and spell damage. I feel like we can find a better Chestplate than Umbrial Mail,possibly Seagazer?

 

I actually pitched Spectre to him a few minutes ago :P
Also, why Seagazer ? It diminishes Thunder Damage, doesn't have Spell Damage and its Mana Regen can be compensated by getting one or two Concentrations .-.
