World Teleport Player Scrolls

In wynncraft you may had your friend die in a middle of a hard boss.
This could be very annoying and could make you lose the fight.
Or lets say you cant find your friend,well i have a idea that could help this
Problem.Much like in servers you can tpa to people,and in wynn you can use teleport scrolls
to go to citys.The idea i have is there should be a tpa scroll.when activated you input
the name of the player you want to tpa to,and then you tpa to them and lose a soul point.
This idea could help players dramaticly.so please support this page if you think this is a good idea!

 

Over powered EXTREMELY over powered

 

This would be abused and spammed a lot, and admins and mods would be spammed with "This player wants a TPA or something"

 

I have an idea to make this thread valid.
You have to at least encounter the area the player is in once. (No relic tps when new, no Troms tp.)
Some areas will not be tpa able (ex: Boss arenas, relics, Bob's tomb, etc.)
Scrolls have to be expensive (10 eb, or something)

 

I agree, also instead of using 1 soul point you use 2 or 3 to make it less op

 

The thing is, there's so much to stipulate on because it's so overpowered of an ability. It almost doesn't matter how many restrictions you put on it because it's overpowered to the point where the only way it won't be is by adding so many drawbacks that it becomes useless. Hence, it's overpowered.

 

The thing is, is the fact that you need to encounter the area once does not affect the will of going to new places, and also because of the fact that you need a player on that area, it is also expensive to non tryhards or merchants, encouraging them to devote more time playing to get emeralds. Even though it might be overpowered, the only use for this is for convenience, and as this forum owner only wanted to quickly go back to the enterance of a boss area, hence he wanted it for players to use less time going to the area, like Wynn Excavation D, when you tell a player to afk at the excavation site, and if a person dies, they use the player tp scroll, using something that costed 12 eb for quick traveling. Even if it does seem overpowered, unless you reply with the reasons, it might not be it. The restrictions I added might just be in between the op and useless.

^ What he said they can abuse the power and get into certain places almost breaking the game, and it would be alot like target spam only tp spam so I dont see this happening.

 

Again, I reiterate; there's too much to stipulate on for it to be a viable mechanic. The line between overpowered and useless is so close together with this that there's no place for any sort of balance. It's either too expensive and far too costly on SP to be viable for use at all, or it's overpowered and doesn't have enough drawbacks. I've thought about this pretty hard and there's simply no point I can think of where it would be neither overpowered nor too inconvenient for use.

 

Selvut's said all that's needed really, it's either OP or useless.

 

But 10eb is nothing... maybe 40-50 eb but also if too many players use this the server will crash and soon die because of this mechanic. And...

Don't mean to hate on your idea its quite good its just... say you enter a boss room and you need an item to do so. Thats called abuse and abuse of bugs/glitches can get a ban. And say some kid ask his friend to go to a place where that certain kid can't go. All that his friend needs to do is get there and abuse the tp scroll. So yeah it is a good idea, I just dont see it happening

I agree with Selvut, it's too overpowered. Even mods get told not to teleport to other people so if we aren't even allowed to do it when we have access to it how will regular players be able to deal with it. Also I'm pretty sure in MMORPGs you can't tp to players. It also nulls the aspect of exploration and discovery for the player and it ruins the experience of going some place new on your own or with a friend with just a simple teleport to me to see this cool thing.

 

I got a nerf idea its cost 60 LE and you only can tp to ta same level player ;-)

-The tp thing can be used once every 5 days
-The target must be in your friend list
-Costs 5 Soul Points
-Must to be in level 75
-Costs 10 EB
-The target must accept the Req
-Costs 19 Hearts *which will left 1 heart*
-Costs 19 Mana *Which will left 1 mana*
-All of Enchantment will gone from your Weapon
-Costs a half of your EXP ( Ex. 100.000 EXP --> 50.000 EXP )
-Your friend will lost half of his/her EXP
