I don’t think so. Those emeralds are probably from Salted killing weak zombies because they were in the way of the photo.

Go knock yourself out if you want to, but it’s probably nothing. The position of items can’t trigger any red stone or command blocks. I doubt they would code a whole plugin just to do that, even if it’s possible.

 

Well unless they used a clock.

 

Clocks are especially not allowed in Wynncraft due to lag.

 

That doesn't mean Salted wouldn't use them for the most convoluted puzzle in the history of mankind.

 

If they didn't use them for ???, I'm 100% sure Salted of all people wouldn't use a clock. Grian and the CMDs have said multiple times that they don't use clocks because of lag. Besides, Salted probably wanted us to just look at the picture, not do anything on the actual map.

 

I tried throwing some emeralds around, but it's hard to pinpoint their exact location in the game compared to the screenshot. I still feel like the mystery here has to do with the picture itself, not anything in game.

in this new update the corruption is getting stronger and my gm application quest is actually going to be used

The portal has opened about 1000years ago and the villagers helped turn the tide around about 300 ish years ago(if I remember correctly). Why is the corruption growing now? Why now? Everyone has been beating it for hundreds of years and now it is going spreading again and getting worse? In some quest it was discovered that corruption is basically a mindless plant so I don’t think that it can outsmart everyone’s tactics. However mabby hundreds of years of exposure to the villagers magic made it have an immunity to it in one way or another. However I don’t think that that is likely the case nor is corruption breaking out. Ya some corruption spots appeared in random areas like a year ago but I think that the reason why they are there is because some third party gods agreed that it would be a cool idea to build pools of corruption. Why would the third party god spread evilness across the world I don’t know but we need to find out who the gods are. I believe that corruption is staying still and dyeing out and the new corruption (with new mobs unlike normal blazes, zombies, and skeleton) are actually the remains of a battle that we can’t see. I believe that the new corruption is not corruption at all and instead is the remains of every banned person on this server and the mobs are ghosts who seek revenge against the gods who imposed there in the first place. This will explain the level variations in different locations. When the player kills a mob there an evil spirit of some sort sets free another ghost to attack the player and who is this evil spirit you ask? It is the one who has a ribbed cage, strong but invisible mussels, but won’t attack you. I did not say a name but he came to your mind.

The spooky scary skeleton caused all of this.

 

I'm not saying it's in any way realistic, but it was a response to you saying the position of items can't trigger command blocks.

 

Ok, not quite sure how exactly that works, but I’ll take your word for it.

 

The new corrupted spikes is not because the corruption is stronger now, it should have been like that from the start. Just like how Corkus has always been there lore-wise, but ingame it was added relatively recently
