Suggestion To Trade/give Item Skins And Change An Items Skin

1. Go into detail. Ok so to start off, my suggestion is to add a way to gift/trade an item skin to a player. Also, I think it would be nice if a player could do some sort of quest to meet a blacksmith who can then switch a weapons appearance for another one that they may possess. Therefore, I can not just buy any sort of appearance but in fact I must first own a weapon with the appearance I want and then I can switch this appearance for a weapon with stats I prefer. So, the trading aspect would be if one person owns a skin that they do not want they can then sell/trade/gift this to another player. For example, I have a friend who has an assassin weapon skin. I am an assassin main and he is a mage main. He is not going to be using it however I wouldn't mind paying him in game currency or trade it for another skin or item but this is not possible. I think this would be a nice feature which would add to the idea of team mates and squads since you work together and can gift weapon appearances. There isn't much else to it. Its just for cosmetics and adding another cool quest in. Maybe one day if possible... at a certain level, or for only players with ranks, with the blacksmith you could even have a way for players to make custom weapon appearances. The making custom weapons could be like mixing and matching already owned appearances :D
2. Is it possible? Yes it is possible. This is purely cosmetic and nothing ultra complex but I would like to see it done if you can please.
3. Does it fit? I think it does... For example, with a sword you could change the blade or hilt. So, couldn't we go to a specialist blacksmith in wynn and trade something or buy a skin for this weapon?
4. Has it been suggested before? I don't think it has been suggested before but maybe. I haven't seen it.
5. Feedback or suggestion? This is a Suggestion.

 

So, this would be cool. However, special weapon skins can already be acquired through crates or through the online store.

Also, you don’t have to write the suggestion using the exact format they show, that’s just a guideline for what to add in the suggestion.

 

There is ”kind of” a way to change your weapon skins already. Scrapping 5 crate rewards of the same toer gets one of a tier above. So if you don’t like your 8 tier 2 food daggers, scrap tyem for a t3 (epic). Who knows, it might be a cool weapon skin.


But it won’t be.
