Stuck before The first cave

Hello im a new player and was playing The game when I logged off. I have logged back in and amb currently stuck there is a cave on front of me but It says that I cant enter without a weapon, The problem is is that when I try to go search for a weapon I am teleported back to The cave. There are only pots in where I can move but they only drop emeralds what can I do? Thanks
The cave has something like a pigman barbeque
