Ya know, it could be about anything. Horus, Illuminati, LotR eye (Eye dunno what you call it) Beholder, possibly even Cthulhu... I hope it's not that last one. Bosses are extremely hard when centered around that.

 

Theyre also extremely unoriginal. I really wanna fight an egyptian falcon with the powers of the sun than another grotesque multi-tentacled thing.

Amnesia, XCOM, Evolve, Resident Evil, Dark Corners of the Earth, Metroid, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, Bayonetta, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Secret World, Quake, Eternal Darkness, the list drags on. Though Nintendo is a lot more creative, the vibes are still there. Hell, even YuGiOh has eldritch monsters now.

 

Well. I didn't know there were that many games. Crazy. You kind of forgot Terraria, where the whole storyline is pretty much based around Cthulhu.

I can totally understand. I'm not saying Terraria is a bad game, but some people don't want to start all over again after beating the final boss... So far.
