Lets see, where else is the Dernic decay... oh yeah, Gavel is infected with it (The Dark Forest), Dead Island is infected with it, and Gateway island is also infected. I agree that two world evils, the corruption and the Dernic decay, make the story a bit more weird and all over the place, but I think the CT is doing a good job tying everything together using the Dern, the Nether, and the Realm of Light (<- this one needs work tho) as three realms battling for control over the world.

 

I think both. They made it a bit better in 1.18 but its still fairly bad.

Well, some responses are pretty dumb, but most of them state mostly reasonable points as no matter how new you are to the forums when you label a thread with "Criticism" you don't tend to mean a confusing dislike of something that you admit was executed well without any valid reason makes for a rather frustrating thread to comprehend and stay unresponsive or confused of such an opinion. Now the OP didn't do something wrong, just more or so frustrating to a point it feels like a troll/joke but it actually isn't

 

So this whole thread happened just because OP doesn't have an english major? he wrote "criticism" instead of "opinion"??

No it doesn't have anything to do with the OP's english, it's just it's not exactly what you would consider a criticism, what I meant by it being confusing and frustrating to a point for you it's hard to not write out a response that doesn't exactly agree with the OP's point. The OP doesn't exactly make OP's message written out well, it's just that even though a area was meant to be dark and scary, and even though it was executed well in the OP's opinion, it apparently doesn't fit? OP's message is crystal clear but OP doesn't like the fact its different, which was purely intended and is giving the right message, look, I have no problem with OP, but OP's opinion is exactly what it is meant to be, a general opinion of something that seems flaw-lacking in OP's opinion, yet dislikes for not fitting in, which was once again, intentional. Now I'm sure not everybody likes opinions, but it's hard to say that this thread was harmless, but the comments are harmful too, if the thread was just a little thought out more to make the message make more sense, then I assume this many complaints wouldn't pop up.
