These runes remind of what the Vikings written letters were

 

When she/he is doing his/her surveys online he/she has to put "Other".

 

The runes themselves look like they are made up (or at least not all from one language, as Tol looks like a completely different language (languages aren't known to have such a drastic change from rigid to smooth that extreme) but the words themselves seem to have an uncanny resemblence to words in Dovah.

 

The blue one would appear to be the nordic rune of the god Frey, only upside-down.
