So What Is The Eye?

I hear mixed thoughts

I made a thread about who is the supreme being of Wynncraft. Such as the creator of all existence.

One thing I got was "The Eye"

I had prior knowledge about it because of the logo and I heard about what it is.

So then I went searching. I found some stuff about it being the embodiment of Darkness, such as how Orphion is the embodiment of Light. And I found some stuff about how Qira was terrified of it and created the Hive and her army to defend and prepare for when the "war" comes.

Now, my final question; what the hell is it? Did it create the Decay? Does it control it? Did it infect Orphion with the Decay? And why is Qira, the one who created Gavel (based on dialogue) and much more powerful than Amadel with the four crystals (that have unlimited power when put together), supposedly so absolutely terrified of it that she hid in the Hive and raised an army?

 

The Illuminati, duh.

 

Oof, the best thing I can do is redirect you to some of my theories, but here's a quick summary...

The Eye is an evil being who lurks in the Realm of Darkness (Realm of Shadow?). He's the Dark Beast (simular to Orphion and CoW). According to theories agreed upon by most of the big theory makers on the forums, The Eye broke free from the Realm of Darkness and took over Dern.

It's spreading influence is a key part of the War of the Realms. As Darkness and Light clash more and more, things such as the Corruption and Decay grow stronger, which is why Qira is so afraid. It didn't exactly create the Decay, but I would argue that it's a byproduct of The Eye's influence.



I highly recommend finding some of my Dern theories, or theories other people have done. The Ancients are also a relevant topic.

 

Personally I do not know as my knowledge of the Wynn lore isn't so deep. But as everything goes, Amadel didn't have unlimited power as he thought he did, it just seemed as off he did. Plus what power he did have made him mad with power and exposed him massively. Qira's army is apparently outdated as they have admitted that. Plus she now gives the hope to you. Fruma is stocked up with mysteries as we will find out in time.

(and half of the reason i think he lost is because the hero had brought shards from 4 of the crystals together, not sure but it was nothing compared to the power boost Amadel got from the full crystals, however the hero might've gotten a power boost from the 4 shards. (the king of ragni even said that power alone was very destructive and powerful and sunk all 4 shards into the lava))

 

Unlimited power is when you can reshape the universe and more. He could reshape the world. That is about it... But yeah if they were unlimited, if you have them on you, you are considered God-like.

Okay, this is debatable.
The quote I believe you are talking about is Yansur's, where he says:
"Qira, creator of Gavel."
There are 2 meanings to this sentence.
Firstly: Qira is a creator, who lives in Gavel. We know that she has created the beasts in the Hive, thus, she is a creator. In this instance, Caissop could also be considered a "creator of Gavel," because he creates things and he lives in Gavel.
Secondly: Qira created Gavel. I find this unlikely, due to the fact that a) some guy with an apoc can solo her and 2) a fluffball is more powerful than her (although to be fair, Wybels came from space). This inconsistency may just be from the impossibility to perfectly mesh gameplay and story (of a game).

Where does it say that?
From what we know, the 4 crystals, when conjoined, are very powerful. But the crystals do not have unlimited power.

Most likely that the Eye or the forces he commands (the Eye is a he, according to words spoken by Mr. Caritat during Memory Paranoia) are so ridiculously powerful that Qira thought it best to hide.

Of course, none of this has actually been confirmed (although the situations presented here are likely, based on our knowledge of the lore). All that is confirmed is that the Eye is important enough to be a central part of Wynncraft's logo.

If that's not unlimited power, I don't know what is.








By this I mean that afk grinding almost always included Shadow Amadel.

Lore-wise Qira is more powerful than it. Doctor Legendary was able to reinvent it however couldn't reinvent her. (well, he did threaten to erase legendary so, but he still said that qira had skill that could not be reinvented.)

The Orange Wybel was able to be reinvented by Dr Legendary, Qira was not able to be, and declined the offer as well. Plus he said that her skill was too immense to reinvent either way

I was saying this because someone said Qira was weaker than a fluffball, which I knew was the wybel)

lore wise. qira and the hero had such a long fight and it was apparently so difficult for the hero when he came out Yansur actually thought he just ran away.
