Pets & Horses Simple Fix To 'lifeless' Housing (96.5%, 57 Votes)

Here's an easy fix for the complaint that housing feels too empty and lifeless - option to let our pets roam free in the plot when they're not following us - Club penguin style. An alternative would be to be able to purchase citizens - purely cosmetic humans/villagers (maybe even soldiers), but wander around your plot with peaceful NPC ais.

Mobs should adopt peaceful (green npcs) or follower (city wybels) AI, at random - would be nice for some pets to wander around whilst others take some interest in the player and his/her visitors.

If you need to slap a paywall behind this idea to convince salted then maybe just 1 for basic rank, 3 for VIP, 5 for vip+ and hero, and u̶n̶l̶i̶m̶i̶t̶e̶d̶ (too laggy) 8 for champ.

I think this is a super simple addition which would bring a lot of much-needed life to housing plots :)

 

and golems, ideally + these should be blue named and you should be able to place them at a post where they won't move like guards. You could then add special events like the ones in skyrim where you're house could be attacked by skyraiders or something, idk I just think that'd be cool.

However unlimited for champ, that's asking for lag.

 

yeah actually fifty aledar carts might not be the best idea for server lag

I'm actually pretty happy with lowering the count waaaaaay down (to like 1 max), it'll just be nice and cute to own a pet at home that you can come back to after a day of adventuring.
