design seems fine, 250 air def scares me so id say increase the -ele def a bit, also like put on some -dmg coz thats like 300 air def and 130 water def with too little drawbacks right there, dunno, maybe its fine anyway

 

Since i don't have much experience creating custom items i wanted to hear some feedback on a chestplate i tried making, it focuses on health regen plus melee damage, but at a huge cost of less spell damage, could work well with things like apocalypse and other melee-based weapon.

My first item design that I'm gonna show(the first 2 or 3 were thunder/fire armor pieces that I hated). Probably really bad, but there's no ring that has an idea like this within 8 levels of where I've placed it, so I think I like what I've done.

My intended goal with this item was a glass-cannon ring. We have this in armor, weapons, and even a necklace(Shatterglass)but not a ring to my knowledge. The spell damage could probably be reduced to 7% or 6%, but it's still pretty high. The ring has buffs to spell damage and gives you an incentive to using melee with mana steal, but its balancing factor is the -health, -elemental defense, -hpr, and -defense. This could be used with a hybrid weapon that is both offensive and defensive to gain a large offensive edge while mitigating Blastcrystal's defensive drawbacks.

Hope to see feedback, because I don't have much else to say.

Hiya mirror, for the new week 5 challenge, when you say secondary, do you mean it has to be a purely regenerative style secondary?

Or can it also be used in combat like using warp/slider as a secondary (as a type of in-combat secondary), not necessarily to do damage but rather to provide in combat utility. Would latter concept also fit the challenge?

 

it doesnt hv to be regenerative, as long as its not supposed to be used for direct combat damage dealing then its fine

Each piece of this set is a dungeon drop (not dungeon shop item) from each of the non-corrupted dungeons, from Decrepit Sewers to Galleon's Graveyard (no Fallen Factory because of requirement, although it would've been cool to have Fallen Factory-themed weapons that have extra set bonuses). Since dungeon drops are harder to get than regular set items, their powers go over the baseline of regular set items, kinda between rare and legendary, so they can be used individually for their bonuses. Each of the pieces have a drawback of -1 attack speed bonus, which can be countered by using multiple set items. Using all 8 set pieces makes you an ultimate jack of all trades, plus great attack speed bonus, giving you a bit of just about every identification in exchange of the skill points you get from individual pieces.

Essentially 8 different items, each dropped from their specific dungeon, all combined give a lot of bonuses or can be used by themselves. Maybe I'll come back later and add a set weapon for Fallen Factory.
