the homo sapiens (us) originated out of africa, where (spoilers) its hot, but compared to other species of the homo genus we were less hairy, taller and skinnier due to the equatorial climate and due to our hunter gatherer lifestyle, where as Neanderthals due to the temperate climate were more hairy and stocky.

Also shower thought, 20% of Neanderthal DNA lives on in modern humans so you could have it too :)

I don't think we can be in a simulation because I believe that all civilizations kill themselves before they can get that advanced.

Also there is a thing called retirement and we can't live on Mars bc there is no atmosphere and our bones would be crushed before we could find a solution. I propose sky cities on venus, or using the moon as a stepping stone.

99% sure living 100-200 years in the future would be better than living right now. People are saying that today is the best time to be alive ever but that is only if you look at the past 5000 years of civilization until right now. You see (with the exception of the dark ages) the human living standard has been rising through the ages because of advances in technology and improvement of human rights and living conditions as a result of the newfound wealth and time on our hands that our new inventions have made possible. Logically, that means that in the future our living standards will be much, much higher. Think about GMO's, cures to cancer, HIV/AIDS and probably even mental stuff like autism and trisomy, fully VR games, hydrogen energy, world peace and so much more that could be improved to our present day planet. I firmly believe that one day humans will conquer all of these problems and frankly I'd want to live in a time like that. Not to mention the space travel. I'm pretty sure people are just afraid of the future because of all the doomsday scenarios like global warming and nuclear war. But someone living in 1950 would say the same, and look at where we are now.
Do you guys really think humans will just blow themselves up? Because the longer we wait for a war like that, the less likely it is going to be.
