Saraha did not answer for the next minute or so, standing still with admirable control. Before Deton moved his hand to check if the woman was still breathing, she answered his question.
"We were work partners. He did not stand out much, but is a contact of trust I have from my time in Iktar." She said, the slightest hint of doubt jumping out from her normally monotone voice. "I am unsure as to how he is aware of your life, but it is a fact he should not have that knowledge."

The woman then turned herself on the floor, this time truly going to sleep. Left to his own mind, Deton stared at carriage's roof while he lied down on the seats, the soft sound of carving wood sending him off into sleep.

Would you be interested in knowing more about the world while we await the other players to sleep?

Etrat guided Fraise through the short corridor with a smile on his face, opening a door at the end of the hallway. The bedroom inside seemed much bigger than the cluttered living room, with a kingsized bed that reminded the Aatsuran of his former home. Nightstands were on both sides of the bed, and a large desk with a fitting chair gave space to work or a place to sit and appreciate the view out the window.

Quirking an eyebrow, Fraise measured the size of the room, making a mental note about how it did not fit in the overall size of the house. Before he could argue with the host about his theory, the man put a hand over one of his eyes. "It's all a matter of perspective." Once more, Etrat was faster than the Aatsuran's reactions, leaving the room and closing the door behind him gently.

Would you be interested in knowing more about the world while we await the other players to sleep?

"Ah, yes yes, here." The old man says, guiding the two through the corridor, waving his hand in front of him. Evalyn pursed her lips sadly and gestured for Wren to come closer as she passed by the elder man. Once they were both a few steps away from him, she whispered on the boy's ear. "The owner of this house, Giulle." She points at the blind man. "He has been debilitated for a while now. He doesn't remember much about anything, and the last thing he did back when he was sane was..." The animagus moves her hands up to her eyes and makes a pinching motion, making the cloaked man cringe and wince on the idea it conveyed. The animagus nodded. "Please be patient with him."

Wren nodded at the same moment the blind man wrapped his fingers around a door frame. Turning on the corridor, the three of them sat down by a big table, with the same woman Wren had met before helping Giulle sit down. "Thank you Cerse dear." With shaky hands, the old man began tapping around on the table, eventually taking hold of his respective teacup. He takes a sip, stopping himself before putting the cup down again. "Cerse? Cerse?" He asks, looking around in a frightened, anxious tone of voice. The caretaker gently held one of his hands.
"Come. Let's get you to your room." She said, getting up. Giulle was helped up as well, grabbing weakly on Cerse's arm. "Who are these people, Cerse?" The caretaker gave a sad smile to Evalyn and Wren, walking towards the corridor. "If you need anything, just tell me. There's a spare room at the end of the corridor." The woman said, and left with the old man.

Evalyn sat silently and finished her tea, moving on to a loaf of bread.

    Minecraft:
Founded around 1665, the Republic of Heril had a hard beginning. With very few people and a small piece of land at first, Heril barely had enough capital to form its first main city. Due to being a new nation and therefore not yet fully organized, the small land bridge received its fair share of criminals in search of refuge. Using the infrastructure from the days as part of Colden and a small loan of money from Plinnáu, Heril created a small but well-trained task force, formed by mercenaries and former members of the Royal Guard of Colden. And so began what would become the biggest military force of the nation, the War Hogs, a homage to the most common animals in the vast plains.

Tasked to fend off the criminal invaders, this group grew with the additions of mercenary refugees, who in exchange for their legality gave away the positions of other fugitives and their stashes. Over the course of five years, from 1682 to 1687, Heril purged its land of the criminals and looted their stolen money. With newly acquired riches, the young nation began building its first capital, Ahmned Shasaram and created a small fleet of commercial boats. Soon, Heril began transporting goods between Plinnáu and Colden, taxing a small fee from the traders depending on the cargo. This created a new source of income for the nation, with barely any competition, enabling the economic growth of the country.

Near the end of the 1600s and beginning of the 1700s, Heril invested more on its land infrastructure, creating intricate and safe roads running all through the nation. This provided a safe route from Colden to Plinnáu and vice versa, although most of the traders making the voyage settled in Ahmned Shasaram. With the recession in Colden, many of the neighbour nation's wealthy merchants migrated to Heril in hopes of better opportunities. The government welcomed the new sources of capital and allowed them to create their settlements in areas with especially small amount of taxes. These settlements later conjoined and formed Thunhet, the largest city in the nation.

Providing safe travel and great business deals for Coldenics and Plinné alike, Heril grew exponentially during the decade of 1710, turning into one of the wealthiest states in the world at the time. During this period of time, the state employed hundreds of Earth and Runic users in the most ambitious project so far, the Canal of Ahmned. Connecting the Northern Gulf and the South Bay, a canal a kilometre wide and four hundred kilometers long was dug by the use of magic over the course of fifteen years. Once finished, Heril's suffered from an economic boom, with the ferry of boats from the Republics of Hymnuria and Iktar passing through alongside the movement from Colden and Plinnáu in both the seas and in the mainland.

Heril prospered for the entirety of the 1700s, a period known as the Herilian Golden Age. With few internal conflicts, the nation remained neutral after Hymnuria closed its harbours to the world, still guaranteeing it access through the Canal so their trades wouldn't be harmed. Over the course of the eighteen hundreds, families rose to power as important merchants, such as the Van Heimer's, in the late 1890s, and the Passou's, in the 1870s.

Currently, Heril is investing in land in Colden and Plinnáu, expanding its territory to feed the constant growth of its cities. The War Hogs are still the biggest military force in the nation, although now treated equally as the Army.

Closest city: Rilo, Colden, 40 kilometers away.
Distance to the closest gateway to Opladyl: 82 kilometers away.

Currently, Fraise and Deton are in the Northern Road of Colden, a very sparsely populated area of the country. To the north, the Howling mountains rise above the grasslands, with the tallest peak in Colden further north. Standing at five thousand eight hundred meters, Mount Talin looms over the valleys and rivers belonging to the Northern Tribes of Colden and the Mist-covered fields of Opladyl alike, in its peaceful magnitude.

To the Northeast, the Northern Tribes of Colden stand unbothered by the main government, maintaining the same practices for hundreds of years. Considered a taboo of primitivity and a testament to the times when Colden was part of Opladyl, the State designated a piece of land to these tribes and stopped all contact with the region. To this day, its a region with a small amount of infrastructure and a hard place to get to.

Interesting, would you say that Deton knows all of this or no?

Also i had some questions about particularities.
    Does every human have them?
Is there something that determines what type of particularity you get or is it random?
Is there a tier system to particularities (like items in games), if yes what would be considered a high tier particularity and what would be a low there one, also where would Detons rank in that?

I'd say Deton knows quite a lot of what I just wrote, given that's the resumed version of it and that he probably went to a good school.

Regarding Particularities, I'm glad you asked! I've been shadow-updating the thread for the past few days, and I'm glad to answer any doubts regarding the Particularities

Q: Does every human have them?
A: No, but a large majority, approximately 90 to 95% of humans have them.

Q: Is there something that determines what type of particularity you get or is it random?
A: It is similar to genetics, where a gene can skip a dozen generations and appear again later down the line. So, in a sense, it's random. Families that try to stray from much genetic mixing can keep a Particularity constant throughout several generations. That doesn't necessarily imply incest, such as in Ancient Egypt, but something such as mixing a dominant gene, for example, Magnetism with a recessive gene, in this case, Healing. This would create a somewhat 'Hybrid' offspring, but due to the dominance of Magnetism over Healing, the person would be born with Magnetism as their Particularity. Such is the case with the Royal bloodline of Yuhtok, and such is the reason why Particularities, despite the name, aren't unique to one person.

Q: Is there a tier system to Particularities?
A: Not an official one, no, but I do think of them as having a ranking system.

Q: What would be considered a high tier particularity and what would be a low there one?
A: A high tier Particularity would be like that of Giulle Artmani or of Jahne of Heril ( Both upcoming characters ), as Giulle's was Clairvoyance, where he could see into the future of all people in his life. Jahne's Particularity is one of two kinds, Prodigy. Fyrila Anbsor's Particularity was Prodigy of the Magical variety, which gave him incredible control over all types of elemental magic without needing training. Jahne's is of the Physical variety, allowing him knowledge and skill over nearly all types of weapons and tools. These are two high-ranked and rare abilities, which for the same reason as the necromancy, I didn't allow players to have. That and I feel it's way more fun to try and get creative.

Low-ranked Particularities are normally the most common ones, such as Healing, Endurance or Resistance. These can, of course, be honed to be of incredible power or utility, but are nevertheless very common and not as instantly powerful.

Q: Where would Deton's rank in the rankings?
A: For this question, I'm going to put the Particularities of everyone in a list, just so everyone knows where their's fit.

Ranking: 1 to 5, one being most common and five being most rare.
    Alain: Statue - Ranks 2 in a scale of 1 to 5.
    Darx: Memory - Ranks 2 in a scale of 1 to 5.
    Deton: Manipulation - Ranks 3 in a scale of 1 to 5.
    Fraise: Haste - Ranks 1 in a scale of 1 to 5.
    Wren: Freezing - Ranks 2 in a scale of 1 to 5.

I hope that cleared out these doubts on the matter!

Wait for a bit before speaking up.
"Giulle, you say? How old is he now?"
Take a small sip of the tea afterwards.

Everyone is currently asleep ( Sorry for making you wait so long ), with the exception on Wren, who's almost there.

Evalyn stops mid-bite and puts her bread down, silent. With a thoughtful expression, the woman cringed as she thought of the age of their host.
"He's eighty-seven now, I believe." After informing Wren on the man's age, she took another bite out of the grainy bread and pushed her plate away. Turning her head to the man, she gestured vaguely towards the end of the hallway. "If you need me, I'll be in the room. I know it's pretty weird to sleep in a stranger's house, but I think it's better than staying in that cave."

Putting a hand on Wren's shoulder, Evalyn got up and nodded weakly to him, leaving the man alone in the room with his tea.

Set the tea down. It's really not my thing. I will eat some of the bread though, regardless of how bad she made it seem. I need to keep my energy up.
They didn't ban me from moving about, so I'll explore the place while eating.

Wren got up from his chair and grabbed the half-eaten grainy bread that Evalyn was eating as he began looking around the room. The living room he was in was neatly furnished, with desks and chairs of Plinné wood of good quality. A grandfather clock pointed the time at 20:53, its constant ticking filling the nearly empty room. The man took a bite out of the bread, marvelling at its sweet, almost honey-like taste.

Wandering out of the living room, the man tried the doors alongside the corridor only to find all but the bathroom were locked. The bathroom was in pair with the dining room, with a beautiful marble bathtub and sink. The toilet was also of good manufacturing, the runes alongside the connection to the floor signalling it was of the models that flushed the tainted water. Walking out of the bathroom, Wren peeked at the room he and Evalyn were sharing at the end of the hallway. The door was half-open, and peeking inside he saw the same grey wolf from the cave sleeping on the floor, the woman's clothes neatly folded on a chair by the bed.

The man closed the door quietly behind him as he remembered how Cerse helped Giulle up the stairs, deciding on checking the upper floor. However, upon arriving at the first steps of the stairs, Wren saw a solid wooden door with a runic lock glowing where the doorknob would be. The man hadn't seen many of those during his travels through Colden and Opladyl, but one of the nomads held a saying that ringed true regarding those locks; 'Simple spells are sometimes quite unbreakable.'

With that, the floor Wren was in had been almost entirely explored, with the exception of the locked doors.

Locked doors means they dont want outsiders to intrude. It would be rude of me to look into them.
But the bread. What made her dislike it enough to wastefully set it aside? Not really my problem, she's probably pampered.
Lets finish up the bread and finish off the tea if its still there. Then wash my face off and head to the room assigned to me.

Quickly finishing his tea and bread, Wren left the cup on the table before heading towards the bathroom. There, the man opened the faucet and cupped some water with his hands, washing the filth off his face. Travelling was nice, but the man didn't remember the last time he had properly stopped to take a bath. Looking at the ornate bathtub, the man pursed his lips and turned away. "Maybe tomorrow." He thought as he left the bathroom.

Entering the room quietly, Wren looked as to not disturb the sleeping wolf, walking around it and taking off his cloak silently. As he lied down on the bed, the man was surprised by how comfortable the bed was, in comparison to the other places he had been sleeping in on the past few days. With that thought in his mind, Wren drifted into sleep.

    Santur, Aatsura. 22:41

Two hours after the new curfew, and Aatsura's largest streets were empty. Normally, even at this time of the night, the business would be flourishing in the culturally diverse streets of Santur. Now, however, the movement and the sea of voices gave place to an echoing silence, with the only testaments that the city was still inhabited being the few lights still on inside some buildings. In the houses, people prayed so they wouldn't be picked for a random house search, unaware of the dozens of people below them that held the same concern.

Underground, hiding in a series of old tunnels and chambers, the members of the resistance murmured their concerns. Laneer discussed with one of his comrades the implications that the attack from last night would cause to the rebellion.
"They know who we are. Karaave said they went looking specifically for him." The blonde man said, staring at the older, more experienced soldier sitting across the table from him. The veteran didn't answer immediately but eventually nodded his head slowly. "There are fewer places for them to search us by the day. They will eventually knock on our door." The man said in his rough voice, and Laneer nodded.

Multiple other soldiers shared their fears and strategies to get supplies for the rebellion, filling the room with the concerned rambling of the former soldiers. Down the corridors of the chambers and tunnels, Karaave and his father sat and talked as the older man sowed his son's wounds. "You should take more care." The father said, heating the curved needle with the fire on the palm of his hand. "This isn't pleasant for neither of us." He completed, stabbing the red-hot needle into Karaave's skin with some effort. The man managed to keep quiet, grasping on the iron armrest of the chair.
"I have to do this. We can't stand by this, this..." The burling man squeezed the armrest tighter as the needle stabbed into him again, slowly closing the wound. "This amorality." The father sighed as he continued sewing the last of the wounds together. "You should come with me, stay with your sister in Colden. She said she can help us settle in, avoid all of this mess..."

As the older man suggested fleeing from their predicament, he felt the man tense up and the needle break mid-sewing, sizzling against the hard skin of the man. Getting up, Karaave looked angrily back at his father. "What are you saying? That we leave our country when it needs people like us the most? That we let those criminals win and let that be an example that evil goes unpunished? You can flee if you want, like a coward..." Karaave spat the word angrily towards the older man, face contorted by disgust and anger. "... but I will stay here and fight for the righteous and bring justice to those despicable people."

Finishing his speech, the burling soldier angrily picked up his shirt from the chair and left, leaving only his father and filling the room with the same silence that crept in the streets above.

    Lushou, Plinnáu. 05:12

Muffled screams of protest and pain came from inside the house of Helea Flunt, nearby the House of Medicine and Science. Wiping some of the cold sweat off her brow, the elf's housekeeper wondered what made the elf start his work so early in the morning. Preparing a drink of several fruits, eggs and vegetables, the woman took a deep breath and opened the door to Helea's laboratory.

Inside, the elf had bound a large lizard-like animal, roughly the size of a saltwater crocodile to his stone-hewn work table. Runes held the powerful members of the animal down as Helea worked around its wings with a scalpel. Holding onto the creature's wing bones using both his hands and his wind magic, the elf still struggled to keep the creature as he cut sections of the dragon's wings and analyzed carefully its scales. "Fascinating..." He blurted out, taking notice of the woman standing by the door and pinning the wing down on the table alongside the rest of the struggling dragon.

"Leah. I see you have my morning concoction. Come." The elf gestured for the woman to come closer, his long and extra-jointed fingers closing as he moved towards his study table. Putting the sample of the wing skin by the other samples that he had collected, he grabbed the metal recipient that held the mixture of fruits. As he drank it and put on his glasses, Leah fidgeted nervously with her fingers. "Mister Flunt, the townsfolk of Lushou and Sarmoau have been very apprehensive lately. The attacks on Aatsura has gotten the locals on edge, and they are marching to try to convince the Minister to intervene and stop the violence in Santur. They're calling it the Willow Tree March."

Finishing quickly his drink, Helea put the recipient down and looked towards his housekeeper. "I see no issue whatsoever in what you just said, Leah. I doubt I could care less about the ministrations of these humans. They are all too ephemeral to be of any importance to me." His speech made Leah take note of the physical differences between the elf and normal humans, such as his larger set of teeth and four-jointed fingers. The rest of his appearance was mostly human-like, with a slender and tall build with some well-defined muscles. Currently, he wore wide leather pants and linen shirt, although he strangely didn't wear gloves for the dissection.

"But sir, if the townsfolk find out about your studies, they might condemn you..." She continues, shooting glances at the partially dissected young dragon. "They might force you and your studies out of town, or maybe even out of the nation."

Helea squinted his eyes through his glasses for a moment before turning away from the woman and picking up his scalpel. Heading towards the creature's face, the man took his small knife and began working on the eyelids of the beautiful reptile, which made Leah shiver and turn away from the elf. As he worked carefully around the eye of the dragon, the doctor spoke. "I doubt the citizens would be able to drive me out of town, even more so when I'm their main source of medicine. If you feel unsafe, then leave. I can always find another servant."

As he finished expressing his opinion, Leah heard a sound pop and a loud, muffled scream coming from the dragon. Daring to look at the doctor, she held her hand against her mouth as her stomach threatened to throw up. Helea smiled with his dozens of teeth as he held up the unscathed eye of the dragon, looking longingly at it. "Fascinating creatures, truly. I shall take good note of them in my studies." Putting the eye inside one of the many alcohol-filled jars in one of the desks in the room, the elf instructed once more his housekeeper. "Once I'm done here, feel free to put the bones on display. I will have taken the important ones by then."

With that, Leah left the doctor to his studies, closing the door behind her as the screams began once again.

The inside of the carriage shook as the wheels passed over a rock, startling Darx and waking the boy up. Looking around, the silver-haired boy quickly got hold of the sword by his side, inspecting the runes better in the light of the day. Noticing the noise on the back, Janee turned around and waved at Darx. "Hey, glad you woke up. We're almost at the gate."

Curious as to what she meant, the boy peeked his head out of the carriage. Below them, a valley stretched out, with a small river splitting the view. Judging by the sun, Darx guessed it was around eight in the morning. A small bridge connected one side of the river to the other, although the one further away from the caravan held the ominous Mist. Barely five meters away from the bridge, the fog started creeping up, almost as if the ground itself released it. The boy could barely see through the thick Mist, but the driver reassured him once she saw him squinting his eyes. "Don't worry, Sate equipped the caravan with some runes to repel the fog. We should be able to go through it just fine."

"I... I'll take your word for that." Darx said, retreating inside the caravan. Pulling some length of rope out of his backpack and taking one of the blankets from inside the caravan, the boy began working on making a makeshift scabbard. Cutting a small section of the blanket, the boy began sewing it together with one of the threads in the first-aid box, eventually managing to make a fitting scabbard for the longsword. Wrapping rope around it, Darx finished his work by putting the sword in the makeshift scabbard and attaching it to his belt, just in time for Janee to pull up to the bridge.

Jumping out of the caravan alongside the woman, the two examined the stonework of the archway, which seemed to contain a few words in Opladylian. The driver turned to Darx and asked him if he could read what the writings said, only for him to shake his head in denial.
"Damn. Well, I guess were crossing it anyways." Janee says, getting back on the carriage and hitting the horses' rear to get them moving. The boy walked alongside the carriage, trying to get used to the weight of the sword on his hip.

As he got closer to the Mist, Darx felt a warmth coming from his sword and saw the gemstone lightly glowing as the fog made way for him to pass through, making a roughly ten-meter circle around him.

    @Katoshii

Waking up from a dreamless night with a light knocking on his bedroom door, Fraise slowly brushed his eyelids and supported his weight with his elbow. "Come in." He said, putting on his top as Etrat entered the bedroom. Once again, the man held a gloomy and serious expression, which made the Aatsuran wonder if his host had some sort of bipolarity. "Your companions are discussing leaving soon. I found it in our best interests to wake you up."

With a slow nod, the blonde man sat up on the bed and brushed his eyes. Yawning, Fraise stretched his limbs and got up, picking up his satchel and weapons from the bedside stand. Scanning the room one last time, he left the room and turned the corridor, noticing and entering a room he did not remember seeing the night before. The chamber turned out to be a bathroom, which Fraise promptly used to wash and clean his face. Drying himself, the Aatsuran stared at himself on the mirror and smiled, slightly adjusting his hair. "Still got it."

Etrat sat on a rocking chair by the porch when the blonde man finally left the house, both of them staring at the carriage. Tinuo fed the horses and attached them to their reins while Saraha and Deton were nowhere to be seen. Probably inside the wagon. The host interrupted the contemplative silence with a quiet 'Hey', catching Fraise's attention. His expression was a mixture of serious and sombre, which emphasized the mysterious content of what he said.

"Be careful around the girl." With a confused expression in his face, the other man doubted Etrat referred to Saraha. From the cart, Tinuo shouted that the horses were ready to continue the voyage.

Groaning in discomfort, Deton woke up from his dreamless night feeling groggy due to the hard pillows slept on. As he sat up, the man realized that Saraha wasn't on the floor anymore. Getting out, he saw that Tinuo was still sat on the small stool, but around him were several small wooden sculptures, ranging from a simple bird to a majestic deer. Smiling at Deton, the driver got up and laid down his carving knife. "I'm glad you woke up. We'll be leaving soon, I just need to pack the horses. Saraha went ahead to scan the area." Raising an eyebrow, the Herilian asked about how she planned to do so, given there wasn't much view due to the treeline. Tinuo merely shrugged.

Not taking long, the man decided to go after Saraha. Taking his belongings from inside the caravan and hearing some advice regarding the animals of the region from the driver, Deton left. The sky was a pale hue of blue, with the sun shyly warming the surface of the earth. The day was probably going to be cold, as declared the frost on the leaves of the trees and grass. After walking for fifteen minutes, the Herilian spotted Saraha sitting on a tree stump in a rare clearing of the forest, allowing them both to see their path.

The path was a small line through the tree line, continuing for sixty, maybe eighty kilometers East in a serpentine manner. The woman quietly raised her finger and pointed to a small white spot way further, partially hidden by the hills and mountains. Resting her hand on her knee, she explained. "The Mist. We are nearing Opladyl." Looking at Saraha as she said that, Deton noticed she had something on her lap; A shortsword of beautiful making, barely seventy-five centimetres in length, was being sharpened manually by the woman using a whetstone. Layered, the blade shined in an almost copper-like colour, the Herilian had no doubts it was extremely sharp.

"We should go back to the caravan. The Aatsuran has yet to awaken." Not waiting for an answer, Saraha got up and pocketed her whetstone. Reaching out in front of her, the woman put the sword inside an invisible compartment in the air, which seemingly made it disappear. Deton had seen this Particularity some times before, but it was an uncommon one to be sure. The duo walked quietly the way back, hearing Tinuo call out for all to enter the wagon as he finished strapping the horses. Fraise was staring intensely at Etrat, both at the porch of the house.

Particularity found: Storage; People born with this quirk can store items of varied sizes into a 'pocket dimension'. The only limitations are related to the fact that the weight doesn't vanish, making the user unable to transport what he cannot carry.

Feeling a gentle tugging on his leg, Wren opened his eyes slowly and tried to remember where he was. "Old man's house, right." He thought, looking down at what pulled at his shoes. Evalyn bit the tip of his boots, still in her wolf form, trying to get the man to wake up. Startled by the large animal, the man instinctively kicked her face, earning him a whine from the animagus. Apologizing right after, Wren sat up on the bed and got his cloak from the nearby chair.

Getting up, the man did not bother to put on his cloak, opting to head quickly towards the bathroom. Throwing his cloak haphazardly in one of the coat hangers, Wren locked the door behind him and opened the tap of the bathtub. Soon, hot water began pouring inside the marble tub, and the man prepared himself for the bath. Quickly closing the tap once the bathtub was almost full, Wren got into the water and felt himself relax after all the time away from a proper bath. Scrubbing himself, the boy barely noticed the scratchings and whinings on the door coming from Evalyn. It didn't last long though, as it subsided and gave place to the calm sound of water.

Finishing his bath just in time for the animagus to knock on the door, Wren began dressing up as the woman outside informed him. "Breakfast is ready for you three. I'll go out to get mine, I'll be back soon." Having finished putting his clothes back on, the man stepped out of the bathroom and headed towards the living room.

Giulle was already sat down, trying to pick up the spoon that Cerse had put by the side of his bowl of mashed avocado. The caretaker was sitting by his side, carefully watching him with a sad expression on her face. She waved shyly at Wren and left the boy to pick a chair and sit down to eat with them, as the table was served with many fruits, bread and slices of meat.

Ever since arriving at Klarifi, Alain had found the place lovely and undeserving of its bad fame. In Plinnáu, many people spoke about the nation as if it was crumbling upon itself, and that its people were no more than sorry bastards. All the man had seen, although, were beautiful buildings with red-tiled roofs and beautiful hills dotted with cypresses. He had a lingering feeling that the beauty he saw was because his research bound him to the cities around the Filials of the Academy, but he'd rather believe that the whole country was as pretty as what he gazed upon now.

Walking down the streets towards the towering building of Filial Seven, Alain passed by a small crowd of citizens partaking in a local open-air bazaar. Many of the citizens sold fruits and crafts, although some students sold items from the Forges, a special section of the Academy that specialized in creating items to improve the life of all. After spending several days in Perela, the man had become familiar enough with these bazaars to make friends with the students. From behind a rack that was selling arrow deflectors, a dark-haired boy with a bright smile waved at Alain. Running out to meet the man, the kid gave him a high-five and began walking by his side.

"Are you going to the Academy study again?" Asked Atisun, pointing towards the large building a few kilometres away. Alain nodded quietly, with a smile. The boy nodded and continued following him, taking some of the greases out of his clothes with his hands. "You know," Started Atisun. "I just finished my latest work at the Forges. Made a sledgehammer. You could like, use it as a carpenter or as a weapon. It's pretty cool." The dark-haired boy was clearly excited about his new creation, talking about it until the two reached the Filial.

"I'll see you later." Atisun said, waving Alain goodbye and heading in the direction of the Forges. That left the man with a few options; He could go to the Libraries of the Filial, something he had been doing for the past weeks in search for more knowledge on the matter of magic, or he could wander around the giant area of the Filial and get some help from the local students. If they were all as sympathetic as Atisun, he'd have no trouble getting help in his quest.

    Sit down and eat quietly.
I don't want to startle the man.
Fill up on the bread and meat before reaching for the fruits.
Just watch what the others are doing, especially the man. (Basically, if he needs help, help him out if Cerse doesn't seem like she can)
