Okay, it seems like blue and Kato split leaving me, quint and h0y infront of the tavern.
Quint then went back inside for a knife so:

"At least one of us is supposed to keep an eye on that (gesture at Quint's character) so-

Wave my hand and walk forward to leave.

 

“I’m not dealing with that mess, please let me come with you.”

 

"Then toss him to someone else."

Darx has no response.

 

I take my leave.

 

As Vitiate activates his Particularity, he notices that while some of his body manages to transform into an ethereal form, the half on the side of the bracelet is still physical. Turning back into his normal form, the monk gets a severe cramp in his left arm. Probably not a good idea to use any type of magic.

Taking the knife, the spirit swirls it around in his hand. It's not sharp, nor is it pointed, but it is indeed pretty balanced. The bartender raises an eyebrow at him.

 

I attempt to use the knife to shimmy the bracelet off.

 

A few moments after putting the knife under the bracelet, Vitiate feels a strong electrical current run through his body. Yelping, the monk pulled the knife away, throwing it behind him and massaging his arm. Getting up, he saw the knife was back in the place he took it from.

The bartender simply shook his head.

 

Fraise shrugged his shoulders and turned to Deton,
"To be frank, I don't really have a set goal for myself. I've already accomplished things in my life that I'm content with. I suppose my new goal is to create a name or legacy for myself in this world around us. The words Fraise Othima would become a name people wouldn't forget so easily. But to be fair, isn't that a goal everyone has in mind? To me however, I'm more keen on making this goal a reality."

He chuckled and tapped his index finger on his chin,
"On another note, maybe playing detective would be a nice change of pace from dancer. Solving mysteries can be my new favorite past time. Let's start now?"
Fraise looked around them, trying to see if he can find a guard.

 

''Seems foolish to me, but what do i know? I'll help you for now, if you agree to help me later.''

 

Fraise arched an eyebrow, but a grin was on his face,
"Oh? You're willing to assist me? That's...different. Hmmm, what do you need help with, if I may ask? You don't sound or look like a typical commoner, but as I said, I don't judge appearances as first impressions."

Just asking, you plan on going the same way Deton and Fraise are going or the opposite way?

 

No guard can be seen in the streets, probably taking care of problems in other parts of the town. A few citizens were on the streets, seemingly not knowing about the incident that had gone by in the past hours. Sighing, Fraise looked around a little more, still in hope of finding a guard.

Getting out of a building neither of the men could recognize, a man wearing armour appeared, seemingly very drunk. The Aatsuran's face lighted up for a moment before he realized that he was just the security for what seemed to be a bar.

 

Fraise simply nodded his head at Deton's answer. He wasn't a fan of prying into other people's business, so he didn't inquire any further. As the armored man left the building, Fraise chuckled and looked at Deton,
"I found something I was looking for. Join me if you wish, but I have something on my mind."
With that, Friase began making his way to the guard.

 

"Don't have anything better to do today" i follow

 

Walking towards the drunken figure, the pair was interrupted from their plan of questioning him when the man pointed a finger at them. Barely managing to keep himself up, he said rather loudly. "Who are you? I hazen't seen your faces 'round here." Taking another swig of what Deton could only assume was cheap beer, the man began.
"I won't let peoples coming in here without the chief knowin' so speak up."

He doesn't seem to be a guard, and considering how drunk he is, pushing him would probably make him topple. No questions will be answered by him today.

 

I cut my hand off using the knife, and the section I cut off has the bracelet on it, freeing me from it.

 

Stabbing the knife into his hand, this time Vitiate not only feels the shock once again, but an incredible pain. Kneeling on the floor and holding his arm in front of him, he looks at the knife. It barely has any edge, there's no way he will be able to cut through bone, much less be awake to do that.

The bartender puts a hand on his forehead and shakes his head, disappointment on his face.
