The wounded guard is still in pain, and due to the bandage being over the armour, it doesn't help much. It does drain the blood though.

"Come, let's get you up." The guard says, with Wren and himself helping the wounded one up. "That way." He points with his head.

Question: am I able to carry him on my own? I'd assum the desert does alot of hunting, but idk how big/heavy the game is.
Even if I can't carry him on my own, I'd like to know the exent as to what I can carry

 

Anyone could easily carry a human a few hundred meters since the standard human here is compared to top athletes in real life and armour is made weightless due to runes, it's a question of whether or not the other guard will let you carry him alone. Wren particularly could carry him till the headquarters, but that would depend on the way he carried the guard.

 

How am I compared to the average desert person specifically?
Since I think that's all I have to compare myself to atm.

 

You're slightly above average, but you have the suspicion that a specialized person, like a soldier or an athlete would beat you in strength or speed. So let's say the average person can run at 60 km/h, you can do 70.

The soldier waves Darx off, or at least makes motion to do so. "I'm fine. He's part my squadron, I need to help him."
Apparently he's not going to stop carrying his wounded friend anytime soon.

"Fine, then. Be like that." I sheath my sword into the depths of oblivion for later summoning, and with the last inkling of my strength, send a telepathic message to my cult followers.

Come. Wait for further command to take more action.

 

Leaving the scene, the group walks off down the streets, eventually turning a corner or getting stopped by people asking to help. Waving them off, Darx keeps opening the way for the trio.
Walking for about twenty minutes until eventually, the guard points to a building with two men standing in front of it. "It's there. We're almost there." He says, looking very relieved. Picking up their pace towards it, the two guards see the group approach. One of them rushes towards them and darts his eyes between the two other soldiers. "What happened?" He asks.

"We were attacked. Commander is fine though." The other one responds, much to the first's relief. "Jhan needs help though. Get him inside." Nodding, the guard picks him up by himself and gets into the building, without saying anything else. Extending his not wounded hand, the man who helped carry shoots Wren and Darx an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry I had to drag you two into it."

"It's fine, we would have helped you regardless." Wren says, shaking the man's hand. "What are you going to do now? You've ought to take care of that hand." He points at the molten armour. The man shrugs his shoulder.
"I'll have it checked out. I don't know how it will turn out though. I may not have this hand if we cross paths again." He says. "But thank you for asking."

Getting no response due to the lack of his followers' mental prowess, Vitiate simply sighs and waits for the commanders move. Her, in the other hand, pulls the monk by the scruff of his neck and points at the two men standing in the street. "You two, with me." She looks a little longer at Deton's weakened form. "We have doctors in the headquarters." She adds before starting to head off, dragging the former spirit by his neck.

 

Raise my habd in goodbye.
"Good luck in the future."
Leave and time check.

 

The guard waves back, going into the headquarters.
Looking at the clock in one of the building walls, Wren sees already three hours have passed. It's 9:32.

 

"I'm fine just a little light headed" i wipe the remaing blood "mind if i ask why we are going?"

 

I wave back timidly too

 

"We're going to the headquarters since I got to decide what to do with this," She pulls on Vitiate "and you two were also there, so I need you to tell me what you've seen. Plus, it's better than staying in this cold." She scoffs and gives a sarcastic smile to the unknown.

After a few blocks, she cuts a corner, heading in a straight line again. The monk seems to have stopped struggling and is walking alongside the trio. Even then, the woman keeps her hand on the man's neck. Five more minutes of silent walking later, the four arrive at the station. Pointing at an already leaving Wren and Darx, the woman says. "You two. With me as well." And keeps on heading towards the station.

 

''Well well well, if it isn't cloak man and his partner averege guy. How have you been?''

 

... Did we walk together or did she manage to traverse our 20 minutes of carrying within 3 lines of conversation? O-o
