Season Boxes for Housing
(because there are a million suggestions and they are all inconsistent)
These would be purchasable storage boxes to be placed on your housing island.
You can buy them at a merchant IN the festival, only DURING the festival. They cost festival currency. They are untradeable.
They have a certain number of pages, which is equal to the amount of festivals of the corresponding season that have passed since the first festivals, which I believe were in 2021, divided by 2, rounded up. Therefore right now there would be 2 pages for the bonfire festival, and there will be 3 in 2026.


There are four boxes: Heroes, Bonfire, Spirits, and Blizzard. You can make cool names if you want but I want to keep it simple. Each one can only store untradeable items FROM the corresponding festival. (the items from the wynnter fair are tagged as "wynnter fair collection" so just make a tag for each festival).
If you have the problem of looking for a certain item, you can have a new Info Tip appear in chat. "if you can't find one of your items, try checking your account bank, all your class banks, your Misc Bucket, and your season boxes!

this feels like a good way to do it, the problem with adding more raw storage is that it won't scale with time

(i'm not a collector so this doesn't bother me in any way but it seems like there are a lot of people who feel the weight all those items have)
