So I watched over all your videos on this map and to be quite honest, I do not wish to apply for a position considering my own building requirements. I build in a style very similar and roughly the same skill level as WynnCraft, and I specialize mainly in buildings. I can get @mod and @Alexicon1 to defend my skill in houses.

The reason I am not going to help you out here, despite the fact that I love building in a team and I love the way everything seems so reminiscent of the game Bastion (my favorite game ever) in your map, is because of the differences in the ways we make houses.

Now before I get into the details here, I would like to stress that I respect you as a builder. No matter how negative I get, keep that in mind. I think you are a 'good' builder.

I build very high detail houses, and prefer clay for my roof. When I use wood, I vary the shapes with slabs and stairs to give it a nice feeling of being surreal, yet possible. For my walls, I make it as appealing as I can. I'll use 2-4 blocks for variation on one layer, and have up to 3 layers of blocks for my walls. Your houses use a classic wool border. There is a difference in style there.

For an example, I am as to Grian, as you are to Keralis. High detail, and very complicated, making it a very risky build, and low detail with low complexity for a safe bet at a decent house. My houses in a town are all unique and can take up to 10 hours to make a small town. You can easily churn out a fairly nice looking city in a few hours. This is simply preference.

Overall, my style is too different from your map to for the theme. No builder is bad, they are all just different.

 

I agree with @MC Flubby , and disagree with him on some points. I like the buildings, it is a style I could get behind (the cartoony medieval theme) but your terraforming could use some work. Sky islands have the ability to be beautiful, but you have to really get them right. Your mountains are the main problem. Other then that one thing, great job so far! I hope to some day play on the server!
