Game Mechanics Scribing Addition

Add a new recipe for Scribing, 2:1 oil:paper (or paper:oil), in addition to 1:1 oil:paper for normal scrolls. The new 2:1 scrolls can be crafted to serve as craftable teleport scrolls to certain areas (not just cities)

When you select the Teleport Scroll recipe and use 6 of the same ingredients listed below, you get teleported to the territory where that ingredient is found.

If a Teleport Scroll is crafted but a) does not have 6 of the same ingredient listed above or b) an ingredient used is not in the above list, then the scroll will have no effects.

 

Keep in mind that if it gives xp, even with an invalid recipe, it makes it the new go-to recipe for leveling, bringing it on par with all other craftings (aside from jeweling) in terms of leveling speed.

 

I like your idea and have another idea to go with it. Just like regular teleport scrolls, it takes a soul point to use it. however, unlike regular teleport scrolls, crafted teleport scrolls will send a teleportation message to the chat of nearby players. If other players click on it, then they are also teleported with you. As normal it still costs them one soul point to travel, and if they have never entered that area before then the teleport will fail for them.

 

Maybe that could happen if you use T2 materials and T3 removes the soul point cost?

It is definitely an interesting idea, though I do not think it is practical from developer's viewpoint.
It is probably implemented as one system for all profs with different variables, so you would have to make an entirely new system just for one thing.
