Rpgs like wynncraft!

Hi i love wynncraft! but i thought it would be cool if i could play an rpg like wynncraft tysm for the help!

 

I asked a similar question, but about RPGs in general, not specifically Wynn-like ones. You could try Runescape, though it is quite grindy (not unlike SB).
Elytry recommended Cat Quest I, II, and III, as well as Undertale and Omori

 

what is catquest undertale and omario and runescape like? never heard of them

 

I've started playing Ashen Empires, the gui is hella old but the game itself being good remains to be seen lol, I'll tell you in a bit

There are some games I'd personally recommend.



For normal RPG games (aka not MMOs):

If you like the buildcrafting system that Wynncraft has, including the ability tree and different outlandish stats that armor can give you, as well as satisfying combat and boss fights, try CrossCode.

• CrossCode ($20 but with free demos on Steam and web browser) is on PC, Linux, macOS, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X/S, Switch, and Switch 2*.

If you like the idea of getting stronger and stronger over time to overcome tougher and tougher enemies with a distinct progression curve with tons of different ways to play, try Terraria.

• Terraria ($10) is on PC (Steam and GOG), Xbox One, Series X/S*, PS4, PS5*, Switch, Switch 2*, iOS, and Android.
  • Legacy versions (which are discontinued) are on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PS Vita, and 3DS.

If you like the feeling of exploring the world to find new locations with new quests, rewards, characters, etc., or if you like looting chests for randomized loot and leveling up skills to build your own "class", try Skyrim.

• Sweet holy fuck... I'm sorry but bro I'm not listing every single Skyrim version and rerelease with every platform. For both our sakes here's a simplification:
• Skyrim Special Edition ($40) is everywhere but mobile.
  • Skyrim Anniversary Edition ($50 for the game itself or $20 for the upgrade) is an upgraded version of Special Edition.
• Skyrim VR ($50) is on PC (SteamVR), PS4 (PSVR), and PS5 (PSVR2*).

As for actual MMO games:

If you like the outstanding freedom in buildcrafting or the feeling of wiping out hordes of enemies that Wynncraft has, try Warframe.

• Warframe (free with no paid gameplay content) is on PC (Steam and Epic Games), Xbox One, Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, iOS, and Android.

If you like the feel of overcoming challenges for randomized loot to make a build out of, or you like the teamwork aspect of Raids, try Destiny.

• Destiny 1 ($20 with two $10 DLCs) is on PS4, PS5*, Xbox One, and Series X/S*.
  • Legacy versions (which do not have the final DLC or content updates) are on PS3 and Xbox 360.
• Destiny 2 (free but with many $20 DLCs) is on PC (Steam, Epic Games, and Microsoft Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Series X/S.

If you like the satisfaction of leveling up a bunch of different stats, try Runescape.

• Runescape (free with optional subscription) is on web browser, PC (Steam and Jagex Launcher), Linux, Android, and iOS.
• Old School Runescape (free with optional subscription) is on PC, macOS, Android, and iOS.

And if you want an MMO game with an amazing story that keeps you invested in its characters, try Final Fantasy XIV.

• Final Fantasy XIV (subscription game but with unlimited Free Trial until Level 80) is on PC (Steam and FFXIV Launcher), macOS, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2.
