Pick up the toolbox and bring it to my mom

 

Beci strolls over to the bar and seats herself, ordering a drink. You glance at her here and there, but she doesn't seem to realize anything.

Frozlar picks up the toolbox, grunting as he carried it through the house and out to the front yard. His mother glanced up from her work and beckoned him over,

"Lovely, thank you, sweetie! Your father and I have some exciting news to share with you, but he insisted to wait until he comes back from work. Maybe we'll go to the market square a little later once I finished repairing these plates. For now, go find something to busy yourself inside."

 

I'll go sit next to her if possible and order a pint of dark beer

 

"Sure, mom."

Look for anything in the house that may be broken.

 

Moving up from the table to the bar, Kollin slides into a seat to Beci's left and the bartender, one of his guildmates, walks over to him,

"Dark beer as usual?"

Nodding his head, Kollin glances at Beci. She seems to be talking to someone to her right.

Going back inside the house, Frozlar looked around the house and began a treasure hunt for broken items in his house. He crept through every single room, picking up stuff and shaking his arms up and down to give it a test. A little while later, Frozlar dumped his collection of hopeful fixies in the middle of the living room.

 

I'll wait for the vartender to get my beer and ask "anything interesting happen while i was gone?"

 

Happy at the compliments she got, Tae got up, putting the bat back in her back. Then, turning to Kindra, she asked. "Say, how are the dorms? Are there rooms for each one of us or?" She gestured vaguely with her hands.
"Anyways, I'm happy to meet you guys. You surely know how to make someone feel welcomed." She smiles.

 

After a few sips of her own drink, the guildmate shrugged her shoulders,

"Ehhh, sorta? Apparently, some of the raiding leaders are thinking about doing some runs later tonight. What about you, anything amiss outside?"

Kindra turned around and made a "zipping" motion over her lips as the group of students walked, a few of them pushing the doors open for everyone. The common room for the dorms consisted of a few tables with textbooks, bookshelves, and rune drawing supplies nearby. What appears to be a secretary at a reception desk looked up from his paperwork,

"Ah! I didn't realize you all would be dismissed so soon. I've assigned roommates for you all while you were at the auditorium. They are on a list on the wall right there."

He points to a board where a piece of parchment stood around a few other papers describing dorm rules. Kindra slowed a bit down to walk besides Tae as the other girls stampeded past them,

"Didn't wanna ruin the surprise for ya! Each room has three beds, so you get two roommates. I wonder what the list is this year."

Tae and Kindra craned their heads over the other girls, picking out the groups of girl rooms,

"Nothing I've noticed, but I've been taking it easy today, brew some potions, played with a knife and bought new gloves. Any chance i can get in on those runs?"

 

Once he's done with his meal, Silva decides to go outside to practice some magic.

 

"Oh lordy, do you think we'll get along?" Tae says between closed teeth, turning to Kindra. Then, looking around, the woman looked for Lysana, seeking to see her reaction.
"I hope we can manage this just fine."

 

The guildmember quirked an eyebrow and a small, malicious grin slowly creeped to life on her face,

"Oh? I'm not the one to ask. Find Chrysha, she's the main one leading the whole shenanigan. I think I saw her-"

All of a sudden, Kollin could feel a hand on his right shoulder. He turned around to face a pretty surprised Beci,

"Kollin!! Glad I caught you here! I wanted to check out Goldenberry with a friend of mine. Kollin, this is Arel. Arel, Kollin."

Arel simply glanced at Kollin and went back to his drink.

Silva stepped back out into the sunlight, taking in a deep breath of the fresh air. He always loved how the air seemed to feel more alive within Ozvio's nearby forest. Maybe it was spending so much time in the cabin, or maybe it was a personal taste. Either way, he was glad he found his own spot in Tysra.

Taking out his spellbooks, Silva began to practice casting spells for a while. He felt like with every day tapping into the magics before him, he was one step closer to unlocking their secrets. [-3 MP]

Suddenly, a rustling of bushes could be heard behind Silva!

"Pshhh, I'm sure we're-"

A very high pitched shriek could be heard and a few girls swiftly moved out of the way as Lysana stomped her way out of the group. She grabbed a few suitcases from the carts of luggage parked right beside the entryway to the dorm rooms and left without another noise. Kinda turned to Tae, a rueful smile on her face while she rubbed the back of her neck,

"I mean, I'm sure we'll be fine! Come on, let's unpack. The institution usually gives us some spare clothes and other items to decorate our room. Luckily enough, I lived in Room E the last session, so I'll guide us."

Tae followed Kindra towards the luggage carts, picking up a suitcase titled [Tae Dahran] and following Kindra down a few corridors. Kindra broke the silence,

"Soooooo, did you bring any family mementos with you? Or something to remind you of home?"

 

"Looks like he's not one for conversation. I guess everything went well since you still have your head"

 

Silva turns around and takes a step back, pointing his staff at where the sounds came from.

 

Still thinking of the scene and looking towards a smiling Kindra, Tae begins walking alongside her. "Oh, just a few small things. I got a compass for my grandma and a silver ring my father gave me. Just a few things to remember them y'know?"

"Oh yes! Lady Paris was pleased that I sold the rest of my wares. How long do you plan on staying here?"

The rustling crept from bush to bush until a small girl stumbled out from the twigs, her hair messy and full of leaves and twigs. She looked around,

"Awww, I thought I went the right way. Where did-"

Turning her head to see Silva, she gasped and shrieked loudly for a few seconds, birds flying up in the air,

"Eeeeeeeekk!!! Who are you?! Where am I?!"

"Oh cool! I've got a few trinkets and stuff from my mom and sister. Anyways, here's the room!"

Kindra approached a door with a plated sign stating [Room E]. As she opened the door, the room was revealed to be somewhat barren besides the beds, matching desks, and a few bookshelves filled with some books on Runic Magic. Lysana was sitting on the edge of a bed beside a window overlooking the back of the dormitory. She glanced over to Kindra and Tae and gave a soft "Hmph!" as she turned the other way, organizing her clothes and supplies.

Frozlar's collection of scraps ranged from broken equipment to objects he couldn't quite figure out how to fix. He picked up an old clock and decided to start with that.

Seston was known as a resilient kingdom throughout Tysra’s Purge, always standing strong in the face of danger. Countless armies attempted to destroy its walls and pride, but they were sent away with the impressive defense lead by Seston generals. Part of Seston’s great success was having armories and blacksmiths ready to provide weapons and other resources for the soldiers. Without this crux of stability within the kingdom, Seston would’ve been another page within history books. Thankfully, it still stands today.

Kylian wiped his forehead free of sweat as he stood outside a blacksmith’s forge. He had been working to the bone to please his master, slowly earning more experience in his craft. The old man had kicked Ky out once again to speak to his daily visitors that drop by at any random time they want. The thought irritated Ky slightly; who were these people and why are they so important to Master? The old man did tell Ky to not poke his nose into someone's business you don’t need to be included in.

In any case, Ky sighed and looked up at the clear sky above him. He thought he could use a break from his work. Sneaking out wouldn’t put him into any serious trouble with the old man and besides, it’s not like he’ll notice he’s gone. He wondered where he wanted to go, let alone if he should go in the first place...

 

"Nice to see you too." Tae said in a joking tone. Looking around for a bed, she points the one in the right wall. "I call dibs."
After saying that, Tae goes in to put her suitcase beside it, sitting down and stretching her arms.

 

I study the clock to see what needs to be fixed with it; a broken hand, gears, etc.

 

I turn to the bartender and ask ''How long do I have?''
