Looking up at the ceiling, Tae nodded slowly. "I guess I should go for it indeed. Thanks guys. Best friends." She extended her hand for a high five with Kindra, but looking at her situation, decided to just pat her head. Then waiting for Lysanna to come back, did the same.
"And thanks for taking care of me. Almost made me think you placed a bet on me again."

 

Beci sighed and rubbed the back of her neck,

"While I wouldn't mind paying for this information to be spread, the matter of Lady Paris turning against her own is what frightens me. Who knows how we'll receive her backlash of rage. Do you know about the thieves guild currently running about in Seston?"

Kindra smiled and began breaking out of her blanket cocoon whilst Lysanna threw her hands in the air, her tone extremely sarcastic,

"Oh come on!! I'm not that much of a gambler! Yeah, I like to have fun sometimes, but sheesh, you're giving me a bad image Tae."

Lysanna chuckled and rolled her eyes, grabbing her handbag from beside the bed and strapping it over her shoulder. She turned to a struggling Kindra trying to free herself from the blankets,

"You know you're twenty seven like me, right?"

"We're all still kids at heart. Plus, you could always help your roommate out, right?"

"Mmmmmmmmm, I don't know about that. What do you think, Tae?"

 

"I mean, in just two days, I'd say we did some pretty dumb stuff. Not that I care, I am LIVING for this." She emphasized, pointing at Kindra with a hand and getting up.
Walking over to the girl, she tried to help with the sheet chains. "Come on, let's not get stuck in the cozy bed."
Then, turning to Lys, she smiled sarcastically. "If you need money, feel free to bet on me by the way."

 

Okay, first I'll sharpen my knife.
Then I'll make a sword to just carry around with myself, to scare of potential attackers.
It's not like I know how to use a sword well anyhow.

 

"I've heard of them"

 

Eventually freeing Kindra from the snares of the blanket, the girl hops off of the bed and walked towards the door. Lysanna rolled her eyes, but a grin was on her face,

"I'll keep note of that. Anyways, let's go, I'm sure everyone's waiting on us."

Lysanna led the way out as the trio of girls made their way towards a building that was about a ten minute walk away from them. It was a simple building like the others on campus, but with a large glass dome roof. The doors to the building opened away from them and crowds of voices filled Tae's ears. The building was simply one room, but at its sides were a variety of food options to choose from. Kindra began digging in her coat for some coins,

"Tae, let me buy you lunch as a thanks for helping me out of the blankets. Clearly Lysanna was too busy focusing on food rather than saving me."

A familiar voice could be heard shouting at them and Tae turned her head to see Nyxio waving his hand at them. Lysanna took out an exquisite looking leather and gold trimmed clutch from her bag,

"You were just waiting to say that, weren't you? I'll meet you guys at the table."

Lysanna began walking to the other side of the room to get lunch while Kindra snickered and turned to Tae,

"So! Whatcha in the mood for?"

"Lord Harto apparently mentioned something about the thieves guild attacking his residence at night whilst he was at a party. I know this is a silly question, but do you...know if they've done anything serious, besides simply taking some coin? Did they take books, documents, any of that sort?"

I forgot~
But do the actions anyways, I want to get my mind off a few matters. Who knows, it might be better. :L

 

"Some do, information is often more valuable then coin from what I've heard around the tavern"

 

Heading towards his workbench, Ky began sharpening his knife with the tools already on the table. The encounter with the mysterious voice in the district still whirled in his mind, but he guessed that some work would help him clear the event away. While he sharpened the small blade, he began thinking of a method to create a basic sword for himself. Eventually, Ky began forging his simple sword, the sound of hammering metal a rhythm in his mind. However, while he was at his workbench working, he could slowly hear an argument growing from the room his grandfather was in.

"Then, perhaps you could do me a favor? There was a letter addressed to Lord Harto a few days ago. I inquired him if he ever opened it, but he said he never did. He spoke about possibly one of the thieves taking it from their raid. Could you look into this for me?"

 

I'm not supposed to interrupt so... Take it as a test of my concentration?
Go back and double my efforts into making the sword. I just need it to look strong. It would be really nice if it was actually strong as well, but I'm not going to fight with it, so that's not as important.

 

"Why?"

 

Ignoring the bickering and continuing his work, Kylian attempted to style the sword to look a bit more imposing than it typically does. It would be a basic short-sword, but he reckoned he should at least try.

Despite his best efforts, Ky couldn't exactly find a way to make it as threatening as he hoped for it to be. The short-sword still looked like a typical sword, and the forgery process was still successful, but it didn't emit the threatening sense he was aiming for.

"Well, if Lady Paris ever figured out that her letter wasn't opened, who knows what kind of havoc she'll rain onto Harto. I don't want any new rivalries to be formed simply because of a silly letter. Since you work at Goldenberry, maybe you'll find the right people to inquire."

 

"If they stole the letter they probably opened it, so that might not work"

 

Sigh.
I already have a better one...
I think I should just forget it and rest the day away.
Is the arguing outside done?

 

Putting a hand to her stomach, Tae pursed her lips and looked at the tables. "I don't know, I'll probably eat anything at this rate."
Walking a bit towards the food, the woman turned to Kindra. "You think there's anything vegetarian?"

 

I reply somewhat sarcastically, "Yeah, I talk. In fact, I talk English."

 

Beci sighed and rubbed her forehead, slightly frustrated with the way the conversation was going. She shook her head and looked at Kollin,

"Then what do you propose, hmm? What would you do in my shoes?"

Pressing his ear to the door, Ky could still hear arguing going on. It seemed to have escalated a bit from what he last remembered.

"Uhmmmm, I think so! There has to be something like that around here...Oh!"

After walking around for a couple of minutes, Kindra pointed to one of a few lines near them. About a dozen of students were in line with a basic sign pointing towards them,

Tae stepped into line and a few moments later, Kindra joined her. Hopping back and forth on her heels, Kindra stretched her neck to look ahead of them,

"Sheesh, we might be here for a bit. But! Anything you wanna talk about?"

The group of students looked rather alarmed at the pointed tone Frozlar threw at them. They turned back to each other, whispering to themselves as they took out their supplies. From behind Frozlar, he could hear the faint laugh of someone before several more students barged into the classroom. Ms. Kiva looked up and motioned them to sit down, looking up at the clock,

"Well! I suppose we should get started now. Good morning, students! I am Ms. Kiva, lovely to meet you all. Seeing that we have a couple of new faces with us today, why don't we spend a couple more minutes free talking? New students, please don't be afraid to talk to us! If you have any questions, please come up to me."

The class gradually returned to their conversations.

 

I don't think I can concentrate with all this going on...
So fine details are out of the questions...
Lets just compress an ingot for later use I suppose. (Damascus?)

 

Tae taps her chin, thinking for a moment. "Uh, I don't know. Tell me more about you." She says, pointing towards Kindra.
"You seem like an interesting person."
